Fuck Buddy - Reviews

[NO SPOILERS!] 

Wow! I'm impressed! My very first idea of this was of a most likely raunchy BL comic, predictable, with not much depth and just not meant to be taken seriously, but nevertheless hot and entertaining, there is nothing wrong with raunchy comics, but I always appreciate when a BL story offers something more. And this did, upon reading the other reviews I altered my expectations accordingly and even so, it still surprised me! This is about two dysfunctional men carrying their own emotional luggage and finding true love and solace with each other, it started off as how you would expect from the initial concept and as the story progressed it became more real, complex and meaningful, touching on heavy subjects, and by the end, it results in a beautiful love story with a sweet and likable couple! Which was not the case in the beginning lol. Not to mention this has great sex scenes, as one can presume, there are a lot of them lol. For critique, I guess I wish for a little bit more development in their so called "strong libido" since it seemed more like downright nymphomania, so I think something like that needed to be more addressed than it was, but it could just be me and regardless the author still did an amazing job in seven chapters. I definitely recommend this if you aren't looking for fluff!

For a short story, this was really good! It didn't feel rushed, it gave a beautiful back story the romance build-up was amazing. I honestly thought this would be some senseless smut-filled manga about two sex addicts that found out they were gay, but it was so much more. This manga was about people who just wanted to be wanted. It wasn't the typical "oh man I'm gay" shocker or "what are people going to think about me" kind of yaoi. It was just about the need for love regardless of gender and the way two people who fulfilled each other's, empty heart. I think it was so romantic and beautiful! 

The characters at first seem to have no depth just too stupid guys having sex with girls because they can't find contentment in their own lives, but as you read further and understand the backstory.... All I can say is WOW the author took 7 chapters and made a masterpiece! 

The artwork wasn't my favorite, but I recommend reading this solely for the story that it tells! 

tbf, its just a whole lot of sex BUT the way the characters eventually come to love its so cute, for such a short series i liked it and its saucy asf so i mean who wouldnt?

It's a fallen angel character plot that just keeps giving. While some scenes seem too naiive, their actions are synonymous to that of broken people who have low hopes for the world.

It's just basically two blokes (one flirty and one extremely hot tempered) messing around with each other and other people. Just got boring for me after 4 chapter's:/
