It’s about a dog trainer who is summoned by the royalty of a fantasy world because they need someone to raise to dragon. Now the art is fine, for the most part, it’s just that the main character has a case of Chameleon eyes, and the love interest has a pair of lopsided eyes. Everything else is decently drawn, just not the eyes, it’s quite off-putting. Anyway, the plot is fine, it is utterly predictable and that is maintained through its ending, but it’s not bad. However, all of the characters are one dimensional as all hell, but the side characters feel like they always have some sort of ulterior motives, though I don’t think its actually intentional, it’s just the art mixed with the delivery makes you think that they’re planning something devious underneath the surface. This manga just feels a bit odd really.
One word: "ok"
I wasn't falling asleep or anything, and the art is ok enough to where the ML is sexy, but only in one of the few well-drawn panels. There was also just a little 🤏 twinge of racism; the holy, "good" people were white and the unholy "evil" demons had tan skin. Def felt weird.
I physically cannot say anything more, because this was just OK. The story was cool, ig, but honestly nothing really to write home about.
It gets an extra point, though, for the ending.
Trigger warnings: unintentional racism, animal abuse
short, rushed and veeery naive.
The idea is good but the excecution is very lacking. The ending gives a vibe of a comming follow up. But after 6 years it's rather obvious there will be none. In this case it's a waste of time.
I'd like to write more about it, but there is nothing more to say about it, really hahaha
Basic isekai shoujo formula +a cute dragon with the negative side of an ugly ML, though I'm sure there probably exist people who won't think the love interest prince is ugly. I think he's terribly drawn, but oh well. It's nothing special, but if you love adorable dragons you can't really go wrong picking this one up sheerly for baby dragon content and the poor dog trainer winging it (pun intended) with said dragon's training.
