For the life of me and I don't know why exactly but I find her incredibly attractive. I also pity her, they do make you feel bad for her by the end and she clearly has issues. I wish the anime had answered some of the big questions that were raised regarding her mysterious mother and what exactly happened to her. In the end all I can hope is that she finds a way to be happy and conquer her demons. She's nice, she just doesn't know nor understand it yet. Be a man Eita, help her heal and be happy!
You know it says a lot about the mentality of people when they resonate more strongly and actually like a manipulative character more than a childhood friend. I don't understand.
