This was too short to expect anything meaningful. 5 min. is nothing and as such... it's painless to watch no matter what you really think about this show and shows like it... that being said... here is what I thought about it... keep in mind that  I have not read the story connected to this at all. First I'll speak about the positives... The animation is the best thing about this short OVA. The animation flows well both in action scenes and ones with more subtle movements. Expressions are shown very accurately. It's what this OVA does best... The next somewhat positive thing is that they do not try to cram parts of plot into the OVA when it doesn't have any room for one. Some people may see this as a negative. I see it as a positive because for me it makes watching something like this easier to swallow. Cramming plot into something this short, can make it worse... this one doesn't bother with that, making the fighting for some undetermined reason, and boobs pretty much what's important. Lastly, the different powers of some of the magic girls are really interesting and cool looking so that is one of the reasons I gave it a almost decent score. Now for what the OVA did poorly. The Music is the worst part of the show. The music feels like it belongs in an older anime however, the animation shows you that the OVA is in fact pretty current. If the anime was older I could swallow bad music like this a lot easier, but it's not. Another issue I had with the OVA was that the monsters were all extremely unimaginative. I felt they could have come up with something a bit better and more interesting for the girls to fight. The last issue I had was that every magic girl in the OVA seemed to have an irrational crush on a extremly plain and normal looking guy character, to the point that it seems that some of the girls stalk him.... and this is sopposed to be cute?  Overall, I'd say this OVA was so short that regardless of good or bad it wouldn't hurt anyone to watch it. If you have read and liked what the OVA is based off of, then you may come to enjoy it more than me. Still It wasn't as bad as I was expecting from it's score.  Monthly Marathon March 11th 6:02pm
