First part of season 2 was good but now it's just not it. The story just doesn't make sense anymore.

*** I decided to revamp and professionalize this review. ***

This is a good, but somewhat rushed continuation to a great first season.

People hate on the second season way too much. When I heard people say that it was a flop, I was sad, but still wanted to see for myself. Turns out most of that commentary was total BS.

Outside of the two main time jumps and the somewhat rushed nature of the plot, there's really nothing to hate on. If you liked the characters of the first season and liked the general setting and mystery of the first season you should still enjoy this season.

Obviously, it is not the same as the first season- and I don't see how anyone could think it would be. They are in a foreign land under the rule of demons. It turns into a matter of adventure, survival, and wit.

This kind of reminds me of when protests in France and other locations were successful in overthrowing a regime, but the people were not comfortable with what followed (the building process to replace what was wrong with the government before). I guess people are saying that it's fun to see the revolt but not as fun to see what follows. I personally think that what follows is just as important, if not more important.

***spoiler alert***

The world building was great, albeit fast. Characters develop and change certain ideas. As with any other fantasy mystery, there are a few convenient/unrealistic occurrences that didn't spoil anything. I found that they did a good job of still keeping things interesting and thrilling.

I actually think the flashbacks and sudden character intros were ok; none of those side characters were all that important anyway.

Everything was logical, and the eventual briefly-planned mass-escape to the normal world was very cool. The ending was flawless, in my opinion, addressing every issue quickly, but completely.

My only gripes:

I admit there were a few moments in which the pacing could have been slowed down. I would have liked to have seen maybe one more episode about the overthrow in the research facility.

I can't argue that the time jumps could have been done smoother- but I've seen worse.

Overall, it's a 8/10. It's still a great anime. Stop the bogus outrage.

I wasn't satisfied with the end of the manga but I've never expected that the end of the anime would be worse. I hope there would be more people who want to read manga after watching this 2nd season. That's all what I want to say.

The season it self is going okay. But I don't read mangas and never read the manga of tpn but seaosn 2 feels reallu rushed and I have a feelinh that this is going to be the last season. For example Norman coming back felt really rushed.  A lot of things are going suddenly, left behind, or isn't adding up. Season 1 was really great but this season just doesn't t feel good at all. Im questioning if i want to countine it. Although I havent read the manga though I recommend you do.

I AM SO DISSAPOINTED IN THE ANIME.

When I watched the anime 2 years ago, I was so amazed at how amazing it is that I read the manga because I can't wait for the next season. Then when the announcement of the new season is released, I was so happy but as I watch it I got disappointed....

Why? IT IS BECAUSE THE ANIME WAS IN A TOTAL MESS

20 volumes and 181 chapters all fitted in 23.5 episodes. The story has so much potential yet they ended it quickly

SPOILER ALERT!!!

The show just ended with the kids going to the human world and enma and the others staying behind. After that there were just bits of scenes of what happened next until years later they go again in the human world. So, there could have been a new season or something about how they defeated the demon royalty. Really, they wasted the potential of the story....
