Both of these series have a rather short female main character that have an important job to do!

In Ouya-san wa Shishunki! Chie is the landlord for an apartment building.. despite being a middle schooler. And Hakone-chan in Onsen Yousei is well... a hot spring spirit

Both follow the story of a young girl and have short episodes. they also have aspects of people relying on the main in the story. However both don't have much character development and limited story, even so I believe if you liked one you should enjoy the other xx

Both anime follow a young girl (middle school aged) through their everyday antics.

Komori-san is the one helping her classmates and others she meets, while Chie is the one who usually gets help from her tenants so she can make more friends as she's not too good at that.

Komori-san one is more settled at school, while Ooya-san one is usually set in the apartments building.

Both of them have funny, but also wholesome moments and both of them are cute, quick watch.

Recorder and Randsell

Recorder and Randsell

As siblings go, Atsumi and Atsushi are anything but typical. High schooler Atsumi is exceptionally small for her age, and elementary schooler Atsushi is abnormally tall with a deep voice, leading to misunderstandings on both sides! Whether Moriyama-sensei gets embarassed by Atsushi's every move, or Atsumi is offered candy meant for children, or poor Atsushi is arrested for being a perv that’s trying to snatch kids on their way to class, this brother and sister duo is bound to have an eventful day-to-day life!

Both are cutesy comedic with humourous misunderstandings and some age-barriered attraction and super short eps.

Despite many warnings not to get involved with her, ditzy Yasuna decides that she is her friend, even if it means getting her arm broken or ending up in a headlock each time she surprises the young hitman. And just to make matters worse, ninja girl, Agiri - an associate of Sonya's - also attends the same school. With Sonya resorting to violence at every turn and Agiri parading her various "techniques" at every turn, Yasuna’s school life is about to get all the more hectic... that is, if she can manage to survive in one piece!

Her new school mates may not be up to date on haute couture, but Wakaba is enthralled by their knowledge about the outside world, including the flashy "gyaru" fashion.
