For me this and continuation parts are the only anime to deserve 5/5. Of course personal opiniom but the story is so beautiful and ending as well.

Title: Kamisama Kiss - A Charming Supernatural Romance

Story (7/10): "Kamisama Kiss" offers a delightful blend of supernatural elements, romance, and comedy. The story follows Nanami Momozono, a high school girl who becomes a land god and inherits a rundown shrine. As she navigates her new divine responsibilities and interacts with various supernatural beings, she forms a close bond with the fox familiar Tomoe. The narrative is filled with heartwarming moments, humorous situations, and charming character dynamics. While the central romance is engaging, some episodes may feel episodic. Comparing it to the manga/novel adaptation reveals that the source material provides more depth and character development.

Animation (8/10): The animation quality in "Kamisama Kiss" is a standout feature of the series. Character designs are well-executed, capturing the personalities of the diverse cast. The series effectively transitions between the modern world and the spirit world, creating a visually engaging contrast. The animation shines during the magical and supernatural moments, making it visually appealing to viewers.

Sound (7/10): Sound design in the anime complements the romantic and supernatural elements effectively. The soundtrack features both romantic and mystical tunes that enhance the atmosphere. Voice acting is strong, with characters' voices conveying their emotions and personalities convincingly. While it doesn't have a standout sound design, it contributes to the overall appeal of the series.

Characters (7/10): The characters in "Kamisama Kiss" are the heart of the story. Nanami is a relatable and determined protagonist who undergoes significant growth as she embraces her role as a land god. Tomoe, her fox familiar, is a complex character with a mysterious past and a protective nature. Supporting characters, both human and supernatural, add depth and humor to the narrative. Character development occurs, but for a deeper exploration of their backgrounds and relationships, exploring the manga/novel adaptation is recommended.

Overall (7/10): "Kamisama Kiss" is a charming supernatural romance that captivates viewers with its engaging characters and heartwarming moments. The animation quality is a strong suit, effectively bringing the story to life. While the story occasionally feels episodic, it successfully combines romance, comedy, and supernatural elements. For a more comprehensive experience, it's advisable to explore the manga/novel adaptation. My overall score for the anime is 7/10, reflecting its appeal to fans of supernatural romance, but also acknowledging the potential for a deeper narrative in the source material.
