In both series, the main characters are high school female students who lose their home and family; that leads them to end up living in a pretty unusual situation.
The artwork also has some resemblance.
Same director on both, and both have the same style of comedy mixed with heartwarming moments. Fruits Basket is more heartwarming so far (although as I'm writing this only 5 episodes of Kamisama have aired), but any fan of one should enjoy the other.
Both are similar in style and even though tohru is alot more naive both girls have lost their homes and live with spirits that obviously have to end up falling in love with the main character who are extremely good people! both are Amazing! Please watch <3
The female protagonists in both show become homeless and they are sheltered by super-natural beings. The position of the two in their own homes respectively might be different, but the relations occuring with the people arround them follow a same pattern.
These basically have the same story. A normal girl, through happenstance meets some handsome boys who have strange powers and emotional turmoil and through her own kind heart, manages to win them over and help them absolve their hurts. However in Kamisama Hajimemashita, the girl has powers of her own, and the love story is more explicit than implied as it is in Fruits Basket.
Fruits Basket and Kamisama Kiss show great similarites. Both Tohru and Nanami are homeless, but are taken into another home. Both anime feature heartwarming and comedic experiences. The artwork resembles each other a bit, but they both have the same director. If you loved one, you're bound to love the other.
Furuba and Kamisama are two anime that begin with a young girl who is on her own and lacks a place to live. She is taken in by unusual people who are not completely human--and this living situation results in hints of romance and character growth on all sides.
You would like Fruits Basket and Kamisama Hajimemashita(Kamisama Kiss) because they both have shrines, both heroines are facing a family difficulty, they involve form changing, and they have similar artwork.
Fruits basket has more complex characters and has a deeper plot, but the female leads share a similar fate in that they both lose their homes through unfortunate circumstances. The style of animation is very similar especially when it comes to the way the male characters are drawn. Kamisama Hajimemashita is a good anime to watch if you are like me and miss Fruits basket!
They have a very simmilar feel. I love both shows and recomend you watch both of them. I am sure that in no time you too will be in love with this anime.
Both are about mostly-carefree homeless girls. They are taken into a new home where strange things suddenly occur. Characters are also similar in that many have animal counterparts. Both are comedies.
Both anime are shoujo with a supernatural twist. The protagonists are very soft and kind girls with no place to go and they both end up being thrust into worlds with magic and supernatural occurances. While both anime focus on the supernatural side of the story, they add in some comedic elements and romance as well.
Right away, when I saw this anime it reminded me of fruits basket, the artwork is pretty similar, it deals wth a female highschool student who loses their home and family, and they end up living with mystical boys who end up falling for her.
Both are about a young high-school girl who was orphaned and taken in by magical/spiritual beings. Bot have romance as well. However, Nanami is more headstrong and outspoken than Tohru, they can be very much alike.
They both have sweet main character girls who dont back down from challenges presented to them and have a fantasy element that is interesting enough to keep your attention. Also the characters are adorable!
Both Kamisama Hajimemashita and Fruits Basket are romantic youkai anime with a female main character stumbling across the youkai world, and end up living in it.
Both anime have a homeless girl. She is struggling in life, and gets taken in by a man. Both have similar supernatural powers. Really good anime
Both have strong female leads. It may not seem like it at times, but that's because, like any real human, they have faults. They both constantly get into trouble, but their strength of spirit gets them out and teaches valuable lessons to the male characters, even though the male characters save them in more physical ways. And the male characters are all really cute :3
They are both awesome! Nah, that's not the only reason.... Pretty boys with animal attributes (like!), strong and funny heroines, nice supportive characters, fast paced story line, plenty of romance in the air, a bit of dark atmosphere here and there to spice things up! Need anything more?!
Both shows, Kamisama Hajimemashita and Fruits Basket, are full of comedy and supernatural elements. They also both center around a high school girl that is having problems with her home and comes to live with a bunch of men! If you liked Kamisama Hajimemashita or Fruits Basket you are sure to enjoy the other. They both made me feel happy and root for one of the characters. They are good quality and have a fruitful story, I'm sure if you enjoy one, the other would be just as good.
Both animes are reverse harem, romance, and shoujo. Heroines live in a house with a long background with a secret. The girls learn a secret. The heroines life changes how the house was originally. Also, tsunderes(Kyo and Tomoe).
Both reverse harem anime, are are very funny. Main characters are both taken in by others because they lost their home. Both have a supernatural theme. One of the only differnces is that the main character does not have any special powers or abilities.
Both of these are super cute, with original ideas. They both are half fantasy/half slice of life school related.
What I love in the Fruit Basket anime is the characters , where I'm most favored is Kyou Cap correct me if I'm wrong , being isolated and discrimanated is the most hurtful part (in my opinion) , there was a time when I cried on that episode where he was locked up because of what he was. This anime is one of my top list that I could recommend that you will not regret to watch :3
As for the Kamisama Hajimemashita it is a good historical shoujo romance , i love the plot and also the character design is well created.
The show is from the same director. The comedy style, humor, and animation all have the same general feel. I don't think it's possible to like one series and dislike the other :)
Both are very touching stories about girls that have to face hard family situations but they find a place and people that make them fell like home, in those animes you can find comedy and hearth moving moments
Both are cute romantic anime with characters with supernatural forms. They are also both great beginning anime for newcomers.
These are your stereotypical shoujo series. Average heroine gets really hot guy. This is actually the case in Kamisama. However, in Fruits Basket, the outcome is not so clear. Either way, both series can be enjoyed by men or women.
they are very alike, they've got the same humor and the characters are kinda similar in the way they are
Both of these anime are about girls that leave home and find themselves in a supernatural situations. Both have hints of romance and drama. If you like the mythology of one, check the other. Hope you like it!
These two animes both have the perfect amount of romance, comedy, and of course animals with human traits. I would absolutely recommend you watch these two, believe me you will not regret it!
Old styled anime, both with guys who have been cursed and the girl just follows along. Though in Fruit Basket no one protects the girl like she's their boss and such like Kamisama Hajimemashita.
Semi-reverse harems. Both have a high school girl who is just super sweet to everyone and everyone loves her or loves to hate her. Both high school girls are homeless and have bad home lives and non-existent families. Both are taken in by others and create a new family. Both have main characters that try their hardest to prove their worth and wind up just making more and more people like them as well as making enemies. Both have magical elements; with fruits basket having people turn into animals and kamisama having animal-like people who can turn into animals but prefer their human/demon forms. Both have a bunch of guys that love them and that one guy the character is just deeply in love with. Both feature a lot of drama and teenage romance and are set in high school. Both main characters have the two best girl friends who are overbearing and protective of them.
After one episode of Kamisama Hajimemashita, I immediately thought of Fruit Baskets. The female leads are in similar circumstance and the men seem to help alleviate the struggle. The stories are cute and all the characters are likeable. If you like one, you are sure to like the other.
Both series have a similar feel to it in a way that they include a quite ordinary female protagonist, who gets herself to be surrounded by gods (mainly male), and throughout the story develops to mean a great deal to them.
I'd say that Kamisama Hajimemashita has a bit more pure romance to it, and Fruits Basket a bit more slice of life. But if you like one, you should definitely like the other as well.
Both stories are very heartwarming and humoristic.
they are both a cute shoujo with a similar setting and feel. for instance, both the protagonists start of homeless
They both center around mythology and romantic comedy/forbidden romance love. Both have great plots that follow the protaganist's growth throught the show.
because they are both romance comedies with supernatural themes in them. I've read both and although they don't follow the same story line they are still very similar and I enjoyed them throughly.
If you liked either Fruits Basket or Kamisama Kiss, you'd like the other one because both are Shoujo anime that feature an air-headed, absolutely big-hearted female main character who have both been evicted from their homes and forced to live elsewhere unexpectedly. On top of that, they must deal with characters who are animal-like in nature, either because they are Youkai, are cursed, or are somewhere in between.
both of these shoujo anime are incredibly light. The openings and endings to Kamisama are pretty fun. If you liked Fruits Basket you will probably like Kamisama. If you are a newer anime fan and can get past the old shoujo art style of Fruits Basket I guarantee you will love the story.
Okay so as in plot, they are relativly diffrent. But in basics, they are exactly alike! New girl who had a tragity of parents dying, and has no where to live. Suddenly she is fown by HOT bois at a shrine. They take her in, she starts to love it. BUT THEN, turns out the boi's are magical! that goes with both shows, the only real difference is that Nanami is a Goddess, and Honda is not. ( as well as the boys being the 12 spirits, and Tomoe is just a demon.) But if you loved Kamisama Kiss, them you will love Fruits baskets.
Both anime's hold very sweet similar tones of each other, both stories are very good in their anime series and manga.
They both are romantic with a lot of comedy and witty jokes 🤗 It’s very interesting to watch you fall in love with the characters. I recommend 💕
Kamisama Kiss and Fruits Basket are similar in the ways of themes; Such as both main characters, who are girls, who are thrown into some sort of magical curse or problem. Both accompanied by a man who have ties to the magical problem, and theme of romance appear in both series, While also having comedic relif. I recommend both series for their lovable charcaters and charming themes of love, friendship and acceptance of who you are.
If you liked Fruits Basket or Kamisama Kiss, you would like the other because both of these anime titles are directed by the same person. The director shows similiar techniques in both. Both shows center around a human female main character who both have huge hearts. They both live in a world where animals and humans coincide, rather it be with youkai or those who are cursed or anywhere inbetween.
I think they can relate because they both desperately needed a place to stay and got one, not knowing that both of their house holds that they will be living in is weird and different. They both are very kind hearted and try not to cry, no matter what it is. They both experience love also. I feel like Tomoe took after both the Soma boys because he can be mean and mature.
The heroines are almost interchangeable. They both have the sunny disposition and independent spirit. They are both orphans and they pretty much are in the same situation when their respective shows begin.
Both are reverse harems and light-hearted comedies, though Kamisama Kiss has more romance. The art styles and music are also very similar.
The original Fruits Basket is more similar to KK than the re-make. But since the storyline of both shows are based on the same manga, the remake still has some commonalities just not as much.
I just like anime that has action or powers, school life, fantasy that sort of things. Anything that gives me thrills and stuffs. I also read the manga for kamisama kiss and it's kind of good.
both romance animes (may I specify) revolve around non-human main characters or relationships.
For one thing, they have the same type of comedy, which comes from having the same director. They also give off similar vibes when it comes to how the characters are presented.
Nanami and Tohru both find themselves in the same sort of situation: homeless highschool students who move in with supernatural beings. However, the supernatural elements are much more pronounced in Kamisama Kiss than Fruits Basket.
In Kamisama Kiss, Nanami spends her days helping supernatural beings with their problems, while Tohru does the same for the Zodiac members. Even some of the characters are similar. Kamisama Kiss's Tomoe is rather similar to Fruits Basket's Kyo. Both of the protagonists are kind and caring individuals, though Nanami has more of a firey temperment.
The main characters are very similar to each other. They are both just ordinary school girls who ended up homeless and were offered to stay at someone's home leading to getting stuck in an unusual situation. Despite obstacles they both faced throughout their life, they still remain a care-free, sympathetic personality. As you watch these anime, you'll encounter a variety of different characters. They are also both shoujo and reverse harem anime.
In my opinion it is better to watch kamisama kiss before fruits busket. Although they are really similar but you will first adore everything in kamisama kiss and then you will like fruits basket even more and enjoy watching it because it has more episodes and more characters involved in plot.
Both female leads are very nice, oblivious and naive. Plus they are always willing to help out when they can. Both of them are cute and fun to watch but they do have sad moments but not for long. I thought they were a good watch.
Both Kamisama Kiss and Fruits Basket have characters with animal characteristics which I don't tend to particularly like but both anime come under my favourite romance so..
both deal with spirits/animals and a homeless female lead had kinda similar storylines nut different at the same time
Kamisama Kiss and Fruits Basket have the same director, and as a result, have a similar feel to them. They even have a similar approach to comedy. Fruits Basket is a bit darker, though it is still a relatively happy series.
Both series begin with a homeless girl without any family being taken in by someone with supernatural powers. For Nanami, it was Mikage making her a god, and for Tohru, it was being accepted into the Sohma family house as a housekeeper. (The Sohmas are possessed by zodiac spirits.)
There are characters with animal elements in Kamisama Kiss, such as Kurama and Mizuki. Fruits Basket has a huge cast full of characters who can turn into animals. There are some character similarities. Nanami is very kind and tries to be helpful. She's a more fiery version of Tohru. Kyo and Tomoe are both more tsundere and struggle to be kind to others.
Of course both of our heroines are surrounded by attractive male characters with a variety of relationships with her. (There are quite a few who are interested in the lead, though.)
Both the original Fruits Basket series and Kamisama Kiss are solid supernatural romance series with similar vibes. If you like one, you'll probably like the other.
Yato, the supposed God of Calamity, is so far down on the Shinto totem pole that he doesn't even have any followers or a shrine to call his own and has to do odd jobs to make ends meet. Worst of all, his aloof and somewhat goofy personality has just cost him his newest partner and best holy weapon. When the down-on-his-luck Yato is saved by an unfortunate soul called Hiyori, he's forced to take on a brand new job - to turn her back into a human and fix her supernatural out-of-body experiences! Can Yato, a Regalia-less, miserly minor god, even attempt such a tall order? And is there more to him than his ridiculousness lets on?

Both are almost the same. High school girl is stuck with a God/Demon and fall in love with him. A guy who is God/Demon with dark past. Side kick who also got a crush on the girl. Both have some good action/comedy, both are somewhat entertaining and short series.
Both anime are about minor gods and their helpers. Also, they are both very funny with a small amount of drama thrown in. The animation is similar as well. They also are both based on manga. My only complaint is that both shows should have been longer.
Both animes present to you, how it feels to be a god or deinty of a shrine a, and the responsibility of it.
Kamisama Hajimemashita has more love elements in my openion.
Go ahead and try out both, im sure you will like them as much as I do.
Though both of these are set in a modern day fantasy world where the main theme is Gods/Shrines/etc., that's not the main reason for why I'd recommend these for one another.
I like Shoujo and if I can't find a Shoujo I want to watch, I look for anime with some romantic elements I can enjoy. For me, Noragami scratched that itch.
So - if you watched Noragami and you like Shoujo, definitely give Kamisama a try. And if you liked Kamisama and could go for more action (while still keeping a bit of those romantic moments) watch Noragami.
you must watch both this anime, really recommended it, good story, good art, aah~ i love tomoe but i love yatogani too..
i personally liked both, so you may as well(: wow this has to be a min of 100 characters long, umm both have to do with gods and there is also romance in both <3
Both revolve around gods that are striving to make it in a modern day world. Also have really incredible backstories for the characters.
Both shows have romance and mischeif not to mention lovable characters. They have a light and playful tone to them that just makes them very similar in that aspect.
I agree........................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
..................................
They are both romantic comedies wrapped around the idea of gods and demons. The heroines were both introduced into the worlds of gods by chance and both must learn about how that world works.
You get teenage and unexperienced Gods and their right-hands fighting the past and the present days. Unusual school days and impossible feelings mixed in a wonderful story
Both feature a dual human girl-supernatural male lead and are strongly rooted in gods, spirits, and demons. Kamisama, however, is much more a romance, featuring an insistent, sincere, rather dramatic and immature 17 year old girl, and a centuries old, condescending and highly resistant male.
I avoided it for a while because of that, but during a renewed phase romantic girliness, and a firmly rooted interest in shinto (traditional Japanese religion/mythology), I finally took it up. There's enough humour, mysterious back story, and straight up beautiful male characters and overall/design animation, to make up for overought and essentially baseless romantic feelings, but for me there is definitely a consistent stream of cringe-worthy moments.
In both, the second season delves further into the male lead's back story, which for Kamisama balances it out, and for Noragami, drags the show sharply down and away from the fairly light tone of the first season, though it becomes addictive in its own right.
And while both feature a young female that periodically needs to be saved, this dominates the relationship in Kamisama, and gets frustrating because the lead female is essentially useless often enough that, to me, it makes it difficult to understand/believe her appeal. On top of that, her tendency to be childish and rather pitiful sometime makes her portrayal as a romantic interest downright creepy.
But ultimately, I am writing this review because I am very much glad I finally gave in and gave it a try, and it does remind me of some of the things that make me love Noragami so so so much, which I have had a hell of a time trying to find elsewhere.
They are very similar in a lot of ways. What highschool girl doesn't love a group of handsome gods to have misadventures with? The gods are flawed in their own endearing ways.
The similarities are completely noticable. There are gods, the human that stumbles upon this world, the God's aid, and so many other parallel characters. The whole story is comedic and action packed. THye both have a 2nd series and You will definitely love it.
the topic is similar, about gods, demons and stuff, and both of course are romance. also yato and tomoe have a similar aura around them...well...not their personalities are similar...but...yeah...
These are my two all time favorite animes!! Both have very similar themes of gods. Kamisama Hajimemashita has more involvement of yokai that Noragami doesn't. Noragami and Kamisama have lead female protaganists that are independent, strong and very likable. The lead men are both likable in their own ways and have a mysterious past. Both have decent romance plots in my opinon as well, though Kamisama focuses on that aspect more. The romance is more deveoped in the manga, but there is enough in the anime to alteast keep me interested. Such great animes that stray from the typical highschool type formula. While there are similarities between both, do not be mistaken, both are incredibly unique and a joy to watch. If you liked one of these animes I can almost guarentee you will love the other as well!
Both involve girl becoming apart of the world of the gods which leads to a load of laughs. However Kamisama does focus on romance where-as Noragami has more action. Personally I enjoy Noragami more, but fo those of you who enjoys a good romance go right ahead with Kamisama.
Both animes are related to Gods (kamisama) and both have a comedy side and a romantic side, both are very interesting and very fun to watch. Both have 2 seasons and you would immediately ask for the second season after watching the first.
I highly recommend both.
Both have that supernatural element and a persistent main female character. Another also have a fun and comedic things to it and can be serious in a blink.
A young girl accidentally stumbles in the realm of Japanese mythology. Her guide? A somewhat sketchy man who just happens to be... Not human? But he decides to help her out, leading her on strange adventures involving gods and youkai. If you like one, try te other. Tge humor, the drama, the action... Maybe the romance. They match up rather well between these two anime.
Both anime are about a girl who finds herself drawn to the unknown world of spirits and gods, though in completly diferent contexts. Kamisama is a romantic reverse harem, while noragami is a battle anime.
Both anime have a girl who cares somewhat for the guy, and the otherway around. They also both have "familiars" of some kind. The only difference is that one has a female god, and the other has a male god.
You have spirits and gods, all of them being fun and a mess. You've got a lot of character development and flashbacks to the past. A story slowly unwrapping itself and being interesting. You've got the romance and even the amnesia. Theye two are very alike and yet unique in their story-telling. If you like one of both, you should watch the other. Just take into consideration that Noragami is a little darker and has more fighting, Kami-sama is the more romantic one.
Both stories are enjoyable. You're dealing wih minor gods in both anime. Not quite the same theme, but the humor and characters make it entertaining.
They have very similar vibes. Both include a girl, that somehow ends up in a world of gods.
I'd say that whereas Kamisama Hajimemashita is a bit more lighthearted and focused on the relationships between characters, Noragami has a bit more guts to it, and a bit more action.
But I'd say definitely watch them both if you liked one of them!
they both involve a romantic story between god and other and the man in the remationship has a mysterious past!!! I enjoyed both very much
Both Noragami and Kamisama Kiss share similar themes and characters.
(In my opinion)
Hiyori=Nanami and Yato=Tomoe
Both involve Japanese mythology, though one focuses on gods and one more on youkai. Both feature a regular girl who stumbles into the spiritual world and a male lead who is part of that world. Both have their comedic and serious moments.
They are both related to gods and shinshi. They also both have the leading human female protagonist, the desired male who is not human and has a dark, murderous past and the other male character that has a one sided crush on the leading female protagonist. I loved both these animes and recomend them both.
In both we basically see how their relationships is developed since early on in the anime the female lead realizes she needs the male lead to help her. Since the female lead is still so young she develops feelings for the male lead but the male lead isn't so up front in admiting to her that he likes her though. The animes are basically about the building of relationships about a god and another mythical or magical being, too, I guess.
Both anime are about a female protagonist who becomes associated with gods or famillias. With a touch of comedic moments
Totally!! both are very magical/spiritual. Both also have HOT GOD/DEMON bois. so i would totally recormend.
They're both very grounded in Japanese folklore and are actually close to being the exact same except Noragami is more action-based than romance-based and the animation is significantly better.
kamisama kiss is alot about romance and the guide of spirts and gods, similarly so is noragami. Both shows are similar becuase of how the gods take on tasks/ wishes of people. There are definetly differences between the shows, i personally thing kamisama kiss contains way more romance than noragami.
Both have the same kinda vibe, both are good comedies. What Kamisama is a shoujo anime and Noragami is not at least as much as I remember both do romance very well.
Both these animes present Japanese mythologies that feature Gods and deities as the main protagonists. They both include dark pasts for specific characters, shrines, divine instruments/ familiars, and a mortal female character part of both a world of Gods and spirits and a world of humans.
Both are really cute and light! The are both also spirit world related and about a god basicslly in one way or the other living between humans
They are both very similar in the way the story is constructed. They both also include gods and spirits.
President of the Student Council at the almost-all-boys Seika High School, the hard-as-nails Misaki Ayuzawa works every day to make life easier on the small population of co-eds who have enrolled there. Though an unholy terror to all things male during school hours, in order to provide for her impoverished family, she secretly works after school at a maid cafe in Akihabara. However, when campus hottie Usui Takumi wanders into the restaurant during her shift, suddenly she finds her reputation in school at his mercy...

For some reason I think that both these shows have similarities, both in drawing style (the female characters, in both, exhibit large eyes and mouthes) and character development. If you liked one, you would probably like the other.
The personalities of the main characters are the same but switched, where Tomoe was thick headed and in denial about his growing feelings for Nanami, the same is said for Misaki avoiding her attraction to Usui while he was actively trying to pursuade her of his affections. The style of the art in this anime is very similar and generally this anime has the same feeling of "I need to know what happens next" excitement. Though I would say this anime is more of a reverse harem than Maid-sama is, that isn't a main theme throughout the shows.
You might like both animes and for sure there ia a lot of similarities. But if you look for exciting romance in compare Kaichou wa maid-sama wins.
I came to watch Kamisama Hajimemashita (Kamisama Kiss) because I loved Kaichou wa Maid-sama. I was not disappointed and I immediately fell for this anime as well. Light-hearted, a bit romantic, comedy, and a bit of mystery.
they both have the main guy and main girl love and the guy protecs the girl and they have the same kind of feel ether way they are both great animes and i recomend both
I guess the two themes/genre are very similar though one is in daily life while the other involves supernatural theme. The romance factor, which is the main part of the two animes, is so sweet and I am sure you would love it as much as you like the other one.
they're diffrent when it comes to plot, but they have a very similar feel to them. they both go into character development. just trust me when i say if you like one youll LOVE the other!
SIMILARITIES:
- Both have strong willed main characters (with similar hairstyles)
- Both have mysterious, all-capable, chivalrous perverts as the male interest.
- Both have a slow developed romance (no insta-love)
- Both are as good as Nutella.
DIFFERENCES:
- Maid-sama! has a tsundere as it's MC, in Kamisama it's the male interest.
- In Kamisama the MC is the more affectionate one, in Maid-sama! it's the male interest.
- One deals with supernatural themes + high school (Kamisama), the other with maid cafes + student councils + high school
It has a similar type of love. In Kamisama Hajimemashita, Nanami loves Tomoe, but the feeling is not mutual (in the beginning). In Kaichou wa Mais-sama, Takumi loves Misaki, and their love is not mutual (at least, not in the episodes I have seen). Their both wonderful love stories, while their complexities [Kamisama Hijimemashita : Being a deity] [Kaichou wa Maid-sama : Living in poverty] enhace the story.
Funny, enojoyable and high-quality shows with an amazing story. What more could you ask for? (More episodes...but still) Both of these shows are very interesting and keep you glued to the screen until you finish an episode. I've watched Kamisama Hajimemashita twice, and still laugh or cry or feel a sense of dread for a character at the time the show portrays this emotion. I have seen Kaichou was Maid-sama! 3 times, and still love this anime. Some moments may be a bit cliche and guessable, but the way they are shown make them entertaining to watch, even if you know whats going to happen. I recommend both shows to any anime lovers.
LOVE AND ROMANCE.... :P
+ both have handsome bishounen (Usui/Tomoe) - protectors of main girls
+ female protagonists are not annoying and they have similar persolalities
+ both shows are romantic comedy (good dose of humor)
+ characters are very likable
- supernatural things in KH, but in KWM not
Both have similar drawing styles, comedy and plot development. It's not extremely love-dovey in either end, but the romance DOES progress. Although obviously Kamisama Jaimemashita contains the fantasy element and Maid-Sama! does not, you will propably like them both!
I watched and adored both of these anime. As for the characters, the female leads have strong, overbearing personalities. The male leads are sarcastic, attractive, and always Tomoe is always getting Nanami out of trouble just like Usui and Misaki. One big difference is the flip flop of relationships and feelings. In Maid-sama Misaki is the one discovering her feelings for Usui, but in Kamisama we're sitting back and eagerly waiting for Tomoe to declare his feelings. Kamisama also has a magical element, but I feel like that adds to, rather than takes away from, the relationship between Nanami and Tomoe. Finally, both of these shows have great elements of humor and focus on a relationship between the main characters that leaves you waiting for the next development.
both are lighthearted and have literal 'laugh out loud' moments while not skimping on the heartwarming romance.
Both shows have determined female protagonists who somehow end up working with guys that they don't necessarily get along with. Both have a solid plot, sweet and quirky romance, and lots of comedy. The plot lines are different but if you like one, you'll more than likely like the other.
OMGOD! THIS WAS SUCH AN AMAZING ANIME! I DON'T REGRET WATCHING IT! I WAS HOOKED FROM THE FIRST EPISODE! IT WAS VERY FUNNY , CUTE , & JUST SO ENTERTAINING! MISAKI AND USUI ARE ADORABLE! IT'S A VERY CUTE STORY LINE & THERE'S A LOT OF DETAIL . THE MANAGER OF THE MAID CAFE IS AMAZING! THE OTHER MAIDS ARE VERY COOL . ALL THE CHARACTERS ARE AMAZING & YOU JUST GET SO ATTATCHED TO THEM! UFF I WAS SO SAD WHEN IT ENDED BUT ITS REALLY AMAZING! I RECOMEND IT 100%!
It's kind of like maid-sama, except in this one the male character, Tomoe, doesn't want to admit he likes the female lead, Nanami. It's really a cute anime with a lot of funny moments that'll you'll just love. <3
Because YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause YesBecause Yes
the emotional reactions are very similiar from both the 2 main girls. although i do like Kamisama more than Maid-sama, i find that both are quite enjoyable. I do reccomend watching both when looking for something cute, funny and a dash of highschool style romance to watch when having a few spare hours as they arent long animes to watch. i find that Kamisama has a bertter story behind it as well as some minor growth in character development. plus the OVAS are able to sum up some loose ends in some aspects.
Both feature awesome stories, loveable leads, fun, comedy, romance, and an early love declaration that ends with the confessor going off a building ^_~
In both anime's the relationship progress is really funny to watch progress and watch how to female lead and male leads get along, too. Both hook you with an amazing introduction to the anime and how the two main characters get to see one another for awhile. Then without it being rushed both main characters are with one another more often and one confesses their feelings and then fall off an building right after words (seriously). This event causes the other to care for the one more. The relationships progress and each character does cute things for the other till they both come together in the end in a really cute way.
Similar genre and scenarios. Both are widely different in their own ways but if you're a fan of one, there's a big chance you're a fan of the other (starring two strong female leads which anyone can dig as well!).
Kaichou wa Maid-sama takes a more comedic approach as compared to Kamisama Kiss, so if you are a Romance-Comedy lover, these two are great!
Both anime are the only one in their gender that I appreciated a lot and would have want some more. I you really liked one of these two you will like the other one more than probably
They both have leading characters with high quality personalities, the intermingling relationships are a real joy to watch bloom for the charisma and comedy.
both contain comedy and are whimsical.
Both female characters come from poor backgrounds in which their families abandoned them.
Both males are good looking and popular with females. They also both are well skilled in many areas.
Its a love story with the perfect amt of comedy . The male main characters have similar personalities
I agree because they both show a strong female lead and a love interest that only has his eyes for the female lead. Kamisama kiss is one of my favorite animes, and maid-sama is perfect to watch if you enjoyed Kamisama kiss.
the relationship dynamic is very similar! i love the main characters for both shows, and they both have an interesting plot and cute theme. tomoe is a very cute fox, and in maid-sama the main character dresses up like a cute maid. love it
both heartwarming stories that develop into beautiful relationships down the line. very fun stories to follow along with
Similar main couple dynamic and stories that flow well without any forced romance. Feelings between the main couples seems to develop and progress naturally and there is always something interesting going on even without the romance aspect.
Both feature tsundere love interests and dense, exuberant main characters. Both main characters have a secret that only the love interest and maybe a few others know about.
Basically the same kinds of characters that you love in your run of the mill romantic shojo characters - aloof guy and strong female lead.
these two animes really arent similar but I would definetly reccommend if you enojoyed either one. they are both romance animes which deal with other love interests getting in the way of the main couple. however, kamisama kiss has non-human main characters which maid sama definetly doesnt deal with. but any ways both animes are oddly similar, would reccomend.

However, she quickly discovers that her bodyguard isn't just foxy; he might actually BE a fox. In fact, all of Ayakashi Kan’s residents, and their agents, have both human and non-human ancestors. Welcome to the weirdest, wackiest mansion in town where no one is entirely human and mayhem is the order of the day in Inu X Boku SS!

Both of these anime's have the main characters as moderately abadoned girls. The main's are strong willed and prefer to do things their way. The main guy characters are also similar in both of these manga's. They both serve the main girl char. due to their own circumstances and they are both demons. They also both have fuzzy ears ^.^ kawaiii although Tomoe isn't as gentle and obident in his servitude >;). If you love one you will deffinatly have to check out the other.
These anime shared some simularities in the fact that they are both centered around youkai. They are also both romance/comedies in which both the main male protaganists are a fox demon.
Both anime are very, very enjoyable and if you liked one I believe you'll like the other.
They both have a tsundere, and both have girls who are protected by their 'servants'. In Inu x Boku SS, it's Ririchiyo's secret service agent who protects her, and in Kamisama Hajimemashita, It's Nanami's divine servant, Tomoe. Both are endearing romance stories with just the right sprinkle of action, supernatural, and comedy.
They're both very similar in a sense that the main character is a young girl being looked after by a male servant and they eventually fall in love. Both animes are hysterical, and if you liked one you'll like the other.
They both have protagonists taht are youkai and they also have comedy and romance into it. Kamisama Hajimemashita and Otome also have hot bishounens around so if you're a fan girl you'll surely love it.
First of all, each series features a fox demon being a servent to a highschool girl. Kamisama Hajimemashita is much more lighthearted then Inu x Boku SS, however. In Kamisama, the main girl is less mature than the main girl In InuxBoku, but they are slightly similar in some ways. The fox demon in Kamisama is hot tempered and not as proper as from the fox demon in InuxBoku. But, If you liked one I'm sure you would like the other.
They both have a slight romance that isn't totally fulfilled. You are constantly guessing how one of the two parties involved is feeling about the other.
Your "squee" meter is definately filled by both of these animes!
Both are shorter animes with fox spirits that look surprisingly famaliar. They're both very good
While the art and storytelling are wildly different, the fox character is the romantic lead and the girl isn't a pushover. The biggest similarity though is the love story. There's a satisfying (also, sweet) ending to both the series and the romance.
Unlike the main character in Kamisama Hajimemashita, the main character is a reincarnated yokai ancestor. Both male characters are fox demons, and they both fall in love with the main character. As this story's more comedic, it also has a bit more romance subtly through out.
Personally i like Kamisama Hajimemashita more, but Inu x Boku SS is a great step from either side to go too. Similar in their own way but each very different and astounding. If you enjoyed one of them, you are sure to enjoy the other.
Both have a servant/master relationship that builds into a more personal relationship. They also both have supernatural servants that server masters with a special "gift".
its a romance that involves heroine being the owner of the male who is white haired and much older than her.
Both are about girls being served by a foxes. The relationships are switched in that in Hajimemashita Tomoe is the abrasive one, while Ririchiyo is one in Inu x Boku. Both are romantic comedies with odd characters.
Miketsukami is fox, he loves, protects his lady and prepares for example meals. They live in this same house. Ririchiyo has odd admirer et cetera.
It's both reverse harem and you have one young lady at loss and one main servant (of some kind) helping her out of dangerous situations!
This is not hard people....... it takes four words.
FLUFFY EARS ON MEN.
IF you are looking for romance anime. I'd recommend both.
Both stories involves contract between a female being protected by a male more specifically a fox. The relationship being formed between the main characters is really cute.
(P.S. Both foxes, Tomoe and Soushi, are adorable <3 )
both showcase the relationship between a fox spirit and a young girl. both have elements of comedy, supernatural and romance. The sidekick roles are both interesting and entertaining. Likeable characters in both series. I personally like Kamisama Hajimashite better because of its more complex plot. But if you prefer more laughs than romance, go for Inu X Boku. Either way, the fox demons are simply hot :p
If you liked either, you'll definitely like the other. I went from Kamisama Hajimemashita to InuXBoku SS. Both have romances involving a girl and "foxy" men. The only differences, for me, were the fact that the rough vs. sweepersonalities are switched - so in Kamisama, the guy has a rough exterior, while in Inu Boku, it's the girl. Also, Kamisama moves much faster, and has a normal plot flow, while Inu Boku moved really slow for me. Inu Boku is a lot more sexualized than Kamisama, in my opinion.
The situations of the two heroines are both similar in a sense that the two have no place to go or really don't belong anywhere. In addition they both have sad parts that work to strengthen the meaning of the story. Those who like Inu x Boku SS also seem to like Kamisama Hajimemashita and reverse. This leads e to believe they were both targeted to capture the same kind of audience so chances are you'll like this one too.
The comedy is very similar, also the super natural elements. The plot isn't as well laid out and the romance is... well... a little hard to suspend your sens of reality for... kind of just inches around creepy at times. But it's worth a watch you'll probaby like it.
the characters look very similar and have very similar personalities. both amazing animes that really catches you
It looks legit ./. & i love romantice animes. & it seems like an anime I would really enjoy watching on a lazy sunday!
Yokai fox manservant and the romance with his charished female in his care.
Romance between a girl and her yokai fox man servant. Comedy but romance that pulls at your heartstrings and added in OP yokai battles. Many similarities but with a much different female main character and new interesting plot.
Both anime consist of a white-haired fox youkai who's in a master-servant relationship with the main female character. Throughout the story the master-servant relationship between the two characters turns into something deeper. Both anime consist of a school life environment with mythology mixed in to add a bit of a supernatural feel to it.
They are both about a girl learnning to live with her servant who turns out to be a fox spirit - both shows deal with the relationship between the two and they both are a "feel-good" show
They are both master and servant types, they involve Fox demons and both of the female leads are cute.
There both amazing anime, and they both have fox characters in the anime too!
In one corner you have a fox demon youkai and in the other corner you have a nine tailed fox youkai, while in both you have a girl who must work along side the fox youkais. In one anime its a girl who is granted powers of the gods but is completly open about her feelings but the fox youkai isn't so much. In the other anime the girl bast born with extra powers that are rare to achieve in some families and she is not open to how she feels at all while the fox youkai is extremly open about his feelings. Both are like a master x servent relationships with each character having a special ability, though. In the end, everything works out but in a way that might not have been so easily seen at the start making the endings heart warming if you see both till the very last OVA as well as the very last Special, too.
Both have that master-servant relation and end up falling in love. Also they both have animal like protectors.
In both anime there is a master-sevant contract between a yokai who is a fox and a girl who has been left alone through various curumstances. Although the characteristics of the protaganists are really not similar at all a romance develops. I think if you liked one it is definately worth checking out the other.
After losing her grandfather, Aoi—a girl who can see spirits known as ayakashi—is suddenly approached by an ogre. Demanding she pay her grandfather’s debt, he makes a huge request: her hand in marriage! Refusing this absurd offer, Aoi decides to work at the Tenjin-ya bed and breakfast for the ayakashi to pay back what her family owes.

Una chica que pierde a su familia y tiene la habilidad de ver ayakashi, encuentra un hogar en un lugar muy espiritual y se compromete con un demonio
Everything about these anime is similar. From the hair to the eyes. Both have young teen girls, kitsune, potential love interests, etc - Kissmyinnerfangirl
both are about a girl who, through certain circumstances, is forced to interact/live with youkai.
Both have:
- Similar world settings where the female protagonist is one of the few people who can see spirits
- Interesting worldbuilding is seeped in similar Japanese mythology
- Charming love story where the two are bound by contract
- Similar hints at a potential love triangle
- Absent father or grandfather figure whose actions have a lot of consequences for the protagonist
- Strong and likeable personalities
- Romance feels developed and well-paced
The female protagonists are similar (in looks) as well as their circumstances (family member putting them in debt, able to see youkai, ending up being involved in a world where they do not belong, etc). The budding romance that seems to be emerging also has a similar feel to it. Both are worth watching.
Same theme kind of. Except Kamisama Kiss/Hajimemashita revolves more around the 'real world' than the 'hidden realm'.
shrines, mystical beings and a human girl stuck to work for them, who slowly starts loving them all. That is what you see in both of these animes. The feeling is very much the same in both of these.
they both deal with relationships with yokai. While Bed and Breakfast for spirits is more suble and calming, Kamisama Kiss is a bit more comedic and the manga has some intense scenes. I definitely recommend reading the manga of Kamisama Hajimemashita as well, as the pacing is more regular and the story has more elements (such as Tomoe's romance with Nanami.)
They are both about girls thrown into the supernatural world, if you like one you should like the other
If you like a good story with some hot demons and a human girl you got one in both of these. I will also say that they are mostly light hearted and sweet. it will surely get your heart fluttering if you are a fan of romance.
Both feature girls thrown into a weird life with gods and fantastical creatures as potential love interests.
The Whole Youkai set up is similiar in both along with the fact of lack of love triangle + good artwork.
Then both our in another world and both have great plat.
Kamisama kiss the main girl got great powers kindof... why Bed and breakfast the main girl cooks for spirts to not marry a guy.
Both are similar in the world and the genre of yokai and Foxfire.
Both female characters are determined to succeed in a mostly dominated supernatural society struggling because some look down on them because they are human
same vibe and atmosphere. romance with the touch of reverse harem but don't worry, it's just a little tease though. with the yokai guarding/pretecting the mc, surely they'll fall for each other
both have humans girls living with spirits, and having the main interest love in an sobrenatural and handsome man.
they have a very similar premise: girl down on her luck taken into youkai/god world, big cast of characters thats more like a family, and mysterious demon bishie romance
they both center around otherworldly beings and the one human girl thrown into their worlds. the general tones of the series are very similar, and it focuses on the main female trying to learn to live with these other beings not fron their world. both have some light humor and romance as well
They are similar stories but in Kakuriyo the main character isn't as much of an entitled jerk.
they both have the same kind of theme involving demons and humans interacting together and the fact that both shows have a bit of romance and drama. Even the animation looks similar but, you can tell that the quality of Kakuriyo is better because of the wonderful use of colour and high definition, compared to Kamisama Kiss which I found the animation to be quite bland. Despite this, I defintely dig the artstyle from Kamisama Kiss than Kakuriyo. However, both are equally enjoyable shows in their own right.
If you like Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits or Kamisama Kiss, you would like the other because both have a leading female protaganist who is forced to interact or live with a youkai. Both anime share Japanese mythology and both stories are charming.
Ok its kinda weird how strikingly similar these two are but i Kakuriyo the male lead is the one with black hair not the fox guy although he is a great friend,
Both about a girl suddenly immersed in the world of youkai. Both protagonists need to learn how to survive/adapt in the new world and both have romantic interests (although Kamisama Hajimemashita plays up the romance a bit more in my opinion).
Both stories follow a young sweet girl who against her will becomes involved in the spiritual world and fall in love with a male character in the spiritual world. They regularly deal with problems related to Gods and demons. Both shows have comedy and are light-hearted romance stories.
Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits and Kamisama Kiss are both romances between an abandoned human and a powerful spiritual creature.
Kakuriyo B&B has an adult main character, where Kamisama Kiss has a high-school age one.
Both main characters help the cast of spiritual creatures around them solve their relationship problems while struggling with their own.
Kakuriyo B&B has a forced betrothal as main part of story.
after i binged watching kamisama, i fell inluv with them, so i tried to find something similar with it, and that was it, close enough huh, i enjoyed both of them, but when i watched kamisama kiss quarantine time in 2020, this is the reason why—my watching slump stop╮(^▽^)╭
So similar, but the characters still feel distinctively their own. Love both of these shows so much!
both of these stories are like balms to the soul. both girls are coming out of bad situations, and then through supernatural means they get into a better situation. but they still have to work hard! they also have very similar personalities
Both have a normal girl that comes in contact with spirits. Although in Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfost for Spirits there is a lot of the story which is based on the FL cooking and helping others, while in Kamisama Kiss there is a little more romantic evolution and focus on fewer characters
Kagome is a normal high school girl who falls into a well, transporting her back in time to the feudal era. Upon her arrival to this world, she mercifully unleashes Inuyasha, a half demon. As if this isn't enough, she also discovers that she is the bearer of the Shikon no Tama, a jewel of great spiritual power, a jewel which has just shattered into a million shards. Now, along with Miroku the priest, Sango the demon hunter, and Shippo the mischievous fox-demon, they must set out to find the Shikon shards and defeat the evils of the demon Naraku.

Both series have a young girl who gets thrown into the world of demons and other supernatural beings who falls for a white haired, fuzzy eared male demon with a tail...or a giant sword. While InuYasha may be a little more action based and Kamisama a little more light hearted, the two are so similar it's almost cliche. But, that being said, if you liked InuYasha and wanted more silliness or you like Kamisama and want more action (and episodes) than you should check out your respective series.
There are a lot of similarities between these two series, particularly in character design. Yukiji looks very similar to Sango and Tomoe looks somewhat similar to Inuyasha. Both stories are about a human girl dealing with youkai. Eventually they both fall in love with their youkai companions who have past relationship issues.
Both have to do with a human girl who sucked into a supernatural world of the sort. and falls in love with a yokai whom they are very close to, both whom have had past relationship problems. Also, the art style is somewhat similar.
While Kamisama Hajimemashita is not as action-packed as Inuyasha, both are about a young girl who meets a boy with ears. The shows each have romance and comedy, and the girl has spiritual powers. The boys like the girl back but are reluctant to admit it. There is also a past in which the non-human boys had a love affair with a human, which leads to romantic questions. I think that both of these shows have the same feel to them and will apeal to the same audience.
They are quite similar. I mean, both of them are about a girl who develop powers due to a connection to a shrine and both are about a sacerdotise who falls in love with a demon. I like them both, but I prefer Inu Yasha :D
Kamisama kiss is like InuYasha's cute and annoying little sister. Kinda a shojo take on the same themes. It's good for getting over inuyasha if you can't find another show to watch. It's a fun story so give it ago if you liked the inuyasha romances!
Both of these shows have a supernatural element to them as well as handsome boys with white hair and dog ears.
Both animes are yokai themed centering around a human female main character with powers. They both fall in love with their yokai companion so the animes have common genres of romance, action, adventure, and fantasy
Both of these animes share a common charming female protagonist. They're both clutzy and inept, yet they always manage to accomplish their goals, with a little help from their friends of course. They make you want to scream in frustration at how helpless the are, and at the same time cheer on their bravey and persistance. They both share a compassionate and selfless nature, taking on overwhelming tasks for the sake of others. They strive for the love of the lead male protagonist, and just a hint, they both succeed.
The lead male in both of these is gruff and cynical, each having a rough backstory. Again, they're each loveable (though I think Tomoe a little more so than Inuyasha, as I find him less wishy-washy in his pursuit of Nanami) but stubborn.
The companions in each of these stories are well developed and help lead the story on its path.
Other similarities include love triangles, time traveling from the past to the present, handsome demons, and adorable fluffy ears :)
These two anime have the romance and sci-fi type genres. The characters also pretty similar.
The characters are very much the same. As I was watching Kamisama Hajimemashita, I kept thinking about how similar this was to InuYasha. Both the female characters and the male characters are the same. The romance development is about the same on both. There is more comedy in Kamisama Hajimemashita.
Considering Inuyasha is the first anime I ever watched it is hard to find animes that live up to it to the point that they remind me of inuyasha. That is until i watched Kamisama Kiss. Both animes have very similar lead characters and often throughout Kamisama i noticed similarities between Tomoe and Inuyasha who both had fallen in love with a version of the main female in the past. Both animes have scenes that take place 500 years in the past though while Inuyasha stays in the past at most points Kamisama takes place in the present. Both animes also have similarities with the female leads as both want to help as much as they can and are trying to balance life between their duties and school.Definetly animes that can remind their viewers of details from the other anime while still keeping them interested in the anime's own perspective plot.
Both of these anime are very similar in some aspects, both of them feature a female lead who is "just your average high school girl until oh no! Something happened to her and she was thrown into a world of demons and magic and stuff!" Both anime also features a sexy (oops, did I say that out loud?) special, silver-haired demon with fluffy ears and a bad attitude yet protective nature over the female lead. Both anime ALSO feature a child-like character(s) who are sometimes helpful to the female lead and annoy the crap out of the male lead.
Another thing that's very similar between the two anime is the main female and male interactions. Both sets of characters bicker with and nag their partners a lot throughout each anime, yet they can turn around and work well with each other when the time calls for it. Plus, the female lead is saving and helping the male lead heal and grow emotionally, while the male lead encourages/forces the female to grow stronger physically and in her spiritual powers.
Both series feature a normal teenage girl swept up in the world of the supernatural, and how they cope with balancing their lives there and at school.
There are soo many similarities, even aside from the obvious (i.e. the setting of a shrine, a fox demon with white hair, a female protagonist who is bold and acts in good faith to others that also possesses some sort of spiritual powers), as well as the fox demon loving another similar human in his past who is no longer alive... However, the biggest difference is the fact that Kamisama Hajimemashita seems to focus itself less as an action anime and more as a romantice comedy.
Though some of the plot elements of Kamisama seem a little too similar to Inuyasha at times, I still enjoy both animes for what they are and the different things they bring to the table individually
This is my first recommendation, so go easy on me. To start off, I'm a couple of episodes in, but already I'm seeing similarities between the shows. Both female leads have influence somehow over the male leads. Tomoe is a fox yokai while Inuyasha is a dog yokai (half, whatever). And both have somewhat tsundere traits, and even have similar hair. I don't want to give away too much, but I already love the show. I suggest trying Kamisama Kiss if you like Inuyasha and vice versa.
I adore both of this anime. In both the girl falls in love with a demon but the storyline is completly different. In inuyasha the girl main character travels back in time while kamisama kiss story is in modern world. Both female characters are strong willed and kind persons.
Because they are both amazing anime's and they are both romance and fantasy ! They both have similar things inside of the anime , sometimes I wonder if it's not the same author that did the two of them , anyway I really recommend inuysaha if you are a fan of kamisama kiss!!
Kamisama Kiss is basically Inuyasha without the action/adventure.
Both have similar MC. A human girl and a demon with dog ears.
Normal highschool girl gets involved with the demon world and has to hold her own with a demon buddy.
This describes both of these shows to a T.
Both of these shows focus on how demons and humans can get along as fall in love as they are really not that different. The main demons both have white hair and ears and can act cold towards our main female character but they care for them very much.
Cutesy shows to watch with some action and some fast-paced moments.
Everyone knows that lies can come back to bite you, but when Erika makes up a fake boyfriend to impress her new classmates, the results may literally end up hounding her forever! Yes, it was dumb, but what were the odds that the random guy whose picture she used would turn out to be a student at her own school? Or that said faux-boyfriend's silence would come with such a horrible price? Now Erika doesn't just have to run and fetch at Kyoya Sata's command, she has to bark too! Because he's literally treating her like a dog, and she just has to roll over and take it, or he'll tell everyone the truth! But that's not the worst part, because even though this wolf in hunk's clothing has Erika collared, she may be starting to have REAL feelings for him anyway! Is she barking up the wrong tree, or could true love be unleashed in Wolf Girl & Black Prince?

Even though Kamisama Hajimemashita has a supernatural element that Wolf Girl and Black Prince does not have, both stories still revolve around similar characters. Both Nanami and Erika are compassionate young girls that want a beautiful high school life and a beautiful romance. They find this romance in the rude but caring Tomoe and Kyouya, two boys who are not willing to admit their love for the girls, but in the end can't escape it.
What can I say, the main characters are obviously male and female. A stubborn male and a persisstent female. Both shows are a bit different from the other as one has "magic" and the other is just school life. Kamisama goes far back in history and has mythology in it, and Wolf Girl is just about wanting to be popular, and asking a guy to act as her boyfriend, but he wants her to do things in return, yet they fall in love etcetera. I recommend both!
These are both just super fun shows. Comedy with a touch of seriousness and great character development.
You can feel a fresh breath of air of romance and drama in both animes.
kamisama kiss has more super natural elements, while wolf girl and black prince is more slice of life.
I recommend Both for those who love romance animes you wont be dissapointed if you try them out, im sure you will atleast like one of them.
Sata Kyouya remembers me of Tomoe, they are both tsunderes. Nanami also remembers me Ericka In the part of love
Both have the girl in need and the self-important savior which appears to have a heart after all... Cute love story and many emotional scenes, perfect for a night when you need to cry a little.
Both guys looks tough but softens when they met the girls. Both animes are beautiful in terms of graphics. Also, both of them have a carefree leading lady who always gets in trouble. Both guys have jealousy issues and are extremely possessive of their partners.
The main protagonists (male charaters ) are really hard and cold at the begining but when a beautiful girl comes to their lives they soften up .their personalities and attitudes change . at the end both the male and female characters fall in love with each other and begin a new chapter of their life together <3
I love both they both invovle girls chasing after their love and the boys end up falling in love with them
Tohru Honda thought her life was headed for misfortune when a family tragedy left her living in a tent. When her small home is discovered by the mysterious Soma clan, she suddenly finds herself living with Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Sohma. But she quickly learns their family has a bizarre secret of their own: when hugged by the opposite sex, they turn into the animals of the Zodiac!
Both heroines in the beginning lose their family and subsequently their home. They are then sheltered by supernatural beings. The stories are mixture of comedy, romance and specs of mythology.
Just about the same plot and tone. Nice Date anime. Kids found it a little to mushy.
The premise for both of these shows is quite similar: girl loses her house, ends up being taken in by supernatural humans, drama and romance ensue. Kamisama Kiss is a bit more comedic, and Fruits Basket leans more emotionally dramatic, but I definitely think fans of either will love the other!
Pure romance plus with a bit of comedy. You will surely fall for the main leads or the 2nd tehee. Just watch it if you are looking for romance
................................................................................................................
Both are romantic and unique in their own way! I love both of them for their own style and storyline. But it is filled with love, a good plot and twists and turns!
Both are similar, but also very unique in terms of plot and characters. If you like one of these and were able to binge watch it, there's a high chance you'll do the same with the other.
Both are supernatural rom coms with loveable female leads. The relationship trope for the mains is sunshine girl, grumpy guy.
Both deal with supernatural elements in an otherwise very recognizable world. I love the romance and comedy in both. Seriously these are 2 of my favorite shows. Will make you feel all warm and fuzzy :)
Izumiko has lived a secluded, sheltered life in a mountain shrine since she was born. Having been raised to become the vessel of the Hime-gami, a mysterious force, the girl’s family has carefully planned and measured all aspects of her life - from the prestigious school she’s meant to attend to even her hair style. So when Izumiko is threatened by strange events, her father forces yet another obligation on her: Miyuki Sagara, a mountain monk descendant who’s fated to be her bodyguard. Unfortunately for the duo, neither is happy about the arrangement, especially Miyuki, who’s being exiled from his home city to guard a girl he considers to be useless. Can the two learn to find common ground in their search to understand the supernatural mysteries unfolding around them?

Only slightly similar due to the fantasy element and solid OTP romance (no real complications from side characters) between a "goddess" high school student and her protector. The mythology based on animism and shinto culture is also slightly similar.
Shrines, temples, supernatural beings, protectors, and magical powers are the mainstays of both Red Data Girl and Kamisama Hajimemashita. Although both involve and female lead and male protectors, Kamisama falls into the reverse harem genre. Both main characters have powers they are struggling to understand and are confronted by the knowledge that the very fate of the world rests on their actions. The characters come together in each to overcome obstacles, help each other, and develop bonds of trust, loyalty and friendship.
Both deal with spirits and temples. The two first don't get along, but over time they take an interest with each other, and the guy's job is to protect the girl.
If you liked the mix of supernatural/otherworldly elements and light romance in either RDG or Kamisama Hajimemashita, the other will offer a very similar atmosphere. Fans of one will likely appreciate the other.
They are simmalar, but dont recycle each others plots. The animation is however quite diffrent, with Kamisama Kiss using lots of pastal colors and a unique style of animation that complements the carefree and occasionally goofy story.
RDG uses a more average (but still notable) style of animation and strong colors to enhance the character interactions and storyline.
Did you like the female protagonist suddenly getting thrown into Japanese lore? And then suddenly, all sorts of magical beings and people start popping out of the woodwork? Well, you'll find more of that in the other anime. While Hjimemashita is a bit more comedic than RDG, there are plenty of parallels between the two. Like the tsundere male lead, a tenth, and lots of Japanese legends.
Both of the animes show a female lead, recently intoduced to their powers. We watvh them grow slowly as the male lead suppoerts them.❤
Shirayuki is a spunky pharmacist with bright, apple-red hair unlike anything anyone has ever seen. Here, the girl meets the charming Zen, who rescues her from Prince Raji's clutches and reveals that he is a prince as well. The two become close friends, and Shirayuki decides to return to Zen's castle with him, to pursue her dreams. Both animes involve strong-willed girls who find friends and romance in a new place. Kamisama Hajimemashita follows Nanami on her way to being a land God and falling for her familiar. Snow White with the Red Hair is more of a classic love story, but they do put a spin on it by giving the heroine more of a voice and independent spirit! Overall, both of these animes are great romances and I'd recommend one if you like the other.
they both have wonderful story lines, Along with a romance that plays a huge role in the story.
This animes are a bit alike in how two different worlds are seen by the characters. Along with how they go through there troubles.
They both involve a romance with inhuman(demon esche) characters. As well as the main characters both becoming stronger and showing lots of determination.
Because the are cheesy romantic and light-hearted. Also, they have good stories and more than one season! so you don't need to worry about the stories ending too soon
Well. Both of them had a very interesting plot, and characters like Tomoe the fox spirit and Shirayuki with red hair. I liked better Kamisama kiss because it was very unique and the love story was amazing, but Snow White with the Red Hair is definitely a must watch
I love these kind of shoujo anime. Very feel good and has me like a giggling school girl. I would recomend both to anyone
