Top 5 Favorite Anime/Manga (subject to change, but who cares, really):

  1. Aishiteruze Baby (Anime/Manga)
  2. Berserk (Anime/Manga)
  3. Kemono no Souja Erin (Anime/Manga)
  4. Made in Abyss (Anime)
  5. Your lie in April (Anime)

While my overall scores vary from one anime to another, I have a tendency to appreciate series that offer something distinctive, even if it's not always conventional or mainstream.

Rating Grade:

1 Star: Ruins the medium. Considered very bad, with major flaws in storytelling, animation, or character development.

2 Stars: These won't get a rewatch. Noticeable issues that detract from the overall enjoyment, but may still have some small redeeming qualities.

3 stars: Worth a rewatch. It may have its strengths and weaknesses, but overall, it provides a decent viewing experience.

4 stars: Please take a look. Above average, with great strengths in storytelling, animation, or character development.

5 stars: These I recommend. Considered outstanding in most aspects, such as storytelling, animation, character development, and overall impact.

Anime Watchlist:

Watched: Check out my anime and manga lists, and you'll see a collection that's been updated more often than the UK's education system. I don't just watch anime; I review it.

Watching: Currently, I'm tiptoeing through some new anime, and sourcing the old. It's almost like a game of "Death Note," where I'm betting on whether these shows will hook me or flop like "Tokyo Ghoul:re." I'm out there, looking for anime that can even come close to the legendary status of "Cowboy Bebop" and "Berserk."

Want to Watch: The pursuit of a good anime is real for me. I'm on the lookout for anime that can give classics a run for their money. If it ain't got an active/finished manga or light novel backing it up, it probably won't make the cut. Quality over quantity, my friends.

Stalled: "Stalled" is where I stash the shows that couldn't even muster a yawn. These are the "Bleach" filler arcs of my anime journey—skippable and about as exciting as watching paint dry.

Won't Watch: Trends? Nah, don't play that game. While many might be hyping up the latest avocado toast of anime, this cynic prefers their anime with a splash of individuality and a pinch of seasoning. Unless an anime can break free from the TikTok chains and truly intrigue me, i'll be chilling with my tea, watching from the sidelines.

Conclusion: So, there you have it. Just like Many of you, I wanting a good story to watch/read. If you're up for some recommendations or a good ol' anime debate, go ahead and drop me a message. But be warned, my takes are as sharp and unapologetic as an "Elfen Lied" plot twist. - anime | manga | reviews
