Another fantasy filled series about a girl taken into a magical world. Many similarities to the El Hazard series, although Escaflowne has mecha in it.

So in El Hazard you aren't fighting in a huge mecha to save an alternate dimension, but you DO have 2 great series that are very colorfully animated as well as have light plots and charming characters.

Alternative World and Landlock are fairly similar in their plots, as well as a varied cast of characters. Granted, Landlock doesn't have the humor Alternative World has, but I think they are a good match.

Capricorn

Capricorn

Here, intelligent animals live like humans, and are ruled by Zalbo, an evil tyrant set on dominating both Slaffleaze and its twin planet Capricorn, the Earth. With the help of Mona, a human/dragon hybrid who is the last of her kind, and a handful of companions, Taku must fight to protect the Earth from Zalbo's incoming invasion fleet before it's too late!

A beautiful fantasy world with mixes of technology and mystical things can be found in both of these series. In addition, the plots are terribly similar as it is! But more than that, I think El Hazard Alt world and Capricorn have very similar feels to them as well.

Kodama Kodama says...

Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari feels like a more modern telling of El-Hazard. From plot,  animation, character design, and even the pace of the show seem to be on par. Characters have similar personalities within both shows. Both shows revolve around a main character from another world, who play a major part in their new world.

Can Sho find a way home, and what of the continually-expanding conflict?

Tweeny Witches: The Adventures

Tweeny Witches: The Adventures

Alice, Sheila and Eva are back, and ready for more adventures in the magical world! From the truth about the dragon house and how it came to be, to a tale of how Sheila's heart was melted when she became mother to a fairy, each girl's past is revealed through stories and memories. Whether it's mishaps from creating a decidedly ‘fishy' soup to hearing the tale of an ancient battle between dragons and evil, there's never a dull day in the life of these witches.
