So of course once I saw that you said Skip Beat has a taiwanese drama, I went and started watching it (which made me want to start reading the manga again, which then made me want to restart it all over again.. for like the 5th time or so haha).
So have you found anything else to watch since I've talked to you? I know you said that you were looking. The only one I've watched some more of since then was Flower Boy Next Door. It's not bad– it actually gets me to laugh quite a bit.
Now I'm rearranging my want to watch list with Cheongdam-dong Alice, A Gentleman's Dignity, and Marriage Scheme as my top three.
Truly glad to say that I've never suffered through Fashion King– I can imagine suffering through an episode of kdrama would be worse than anime since the episodes are longer.
Let's see... I heard Substitute Princess is pretty good so far, but I can't make any promises, Flower Boy Next Door seems to be looking up, Flower Boy Ramyun Shop is okay, if you're in the mood for Taiwanese then I'd suggest Office Girls, if you want to see something pretty random then I would say Spy Myung Wol, hmmm, what type of kdrama do you typically like to watch?
Yeah, anime and kdrama are definitely a nice getaway from the tedious cycle– that's pretty much the same reason why I started watching both (plus, I think kdrama is just so much better than the ridiculous shows I could find on tv).
I read the manga for It started with a kiss, but I have to say, I think I might like the kdrama better than the anime. For whatever reason, I didn't get very far in the anime. I guess overall, I just wanted her to be a stronger character.. I'm not a huge fan when love makes you weak.. or something like that. Speaking of strong-willed female characters, I think Sweet 18 might be worth watching. And I've got to say, I don't think I've ever seen a kdrama like Wonderful Life before.. hmm, that might be a nice change of pace. But since you said Gentelman's Dignity is much better, I'd rather watch that one first. I still also want to start Marriage Scheme.
