I...oh my. Uhh, what to say about this one...it's just all around disturbing. The art style is beautiful, but at the end of the day, it's not an exuse to watch this. I watched it despite the overwhelming warnings. I don't regret watching it? But if I hadn't watched it, honestly, I don't think I'd be missing anything. Wow. Honestly, that's all I have to say. If this anime is on your "Do Not Watch" list, I think you should reconsider. This show is a work of art on so many different levels. I would give this show a 100,000 if I could. Here's why: ***MAYBE SPOILERS*** Not only is this show amazing in practically every aspect, the story it tells is absolutely heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time.
