It must have been when I was 14. I played what might be the greatest game I will ever play, Persona 3. Given the difficult circumstances at the time only amplifying my feelings, I don't think i'll ever have such an intensely intimate experience with a game ever again. It was a happy coincidence that the game happened to be in an anime style!
That's the original spark of my anime fandom, add a bit of Akira, Naruto and Ghibli and before I know it, the casual interest turns into a self sustaining snowball effect! Feed me!
Other interests include any Shin Megami Tensei game (Persona 3, Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga e.t.c) , Frank Herbert's DUNE and sequels (HEAVY original Sci-fi!) and musical persuits, I greatly enjoy learning Final Fantasy Piano Collection peices. I may not be the most social person, but I'm a very giving and willing person when it comes to my musical performances. I'm pretty self-aware and hence self-critical, I have a deep appreciation for beautiful things (I'm too young to be this sentimental!)
Back to Persona 3 though, March 5th 2011 will be the one year anniversary of a very special day for P3 fans, I wonder what i should do for it...
