Kuroko's Basketball 3

May 30, 2020

this half-assed review is for people who aren't 12 y/o in case you are one, skip this review and rate it 4/5

honestly, the only reason i am even writing this is because breaking rules after you set them for the past two seasons is unforgivable in any plot.

if there is an unknown reason for something to break your own rule at least explain it no matter if it's illogical or magical

animations/sound no improvement from the last two seasons
characters are good as par to the first two seasons and the anime itself is explosive and filled with action even if it's on the realm of fantasy half of the time but as the first part mentioned no matter what you have not a single reason to break your own established rules(retcons)

this is dumbfounding I honestly felt as if someone was spitting at my face

now for story criticism
*to begin with for anyone who understands what "zone" actually is in real life this exposition they made a season ago break it entirely A it's called "being in the zone" and it's slang for the term of "flow" in which ANYONE can get into given the right conditions these conditions mostly being the emotional state of mind and experience(but I get it they turned that into something fantasy-like)
*kuroko is the wise man that has an answer for everything(even when he states he doesn't but that's just for the viewer "misdirection")
*kuroko doesn't have an answer when it is convenient for the plot

for conclusion
the worst part of this anime are the matches and in contrast the best parts are the character development and background story it feels like this anime tries to nail the drama and the shonen aspect in one go
good conclusion at the end pretty much like a movie

6/10 story
7/10 animation
6/10 sound
9/10 characters
5/10 overall
