This is by far the most perfectly constructed anime I have ever watched. If you want characters to bond with and to actually feel emotions you've never felt before. Or even fathomed. Watch this anime. I have never had a standing ovation at an anime before. Please give this one a chance. Cinematography is amazing. Camera work is artistic. Characters are geniusly written.

Okay well... as a lesbian and a fan of the supernatural: this anime was entertaining and the main character was hot (when she wasn't covered in fur) to say the least. So in my opinion it served its purpose. It's entertainment. Sure, it might've been overly sexual and rape-y to the point where it made me uncomfortable and questionable of the lead writer's style of storytelling, but it was never a boring watch (the other parts of the show I mean). DISCLAIMER: POTENTIAL SPOILERS To begin, I'm obviously a Madoka fan, yes, but I paid close attention to Magical Girl Raising Project and it was probably the most "cookie-cutter-plot" Mahou Shoujo I had ever forced myself to watch.
