I really like Given, but haven't watched Heaven's Official Blessing yet, since I didn't know how heavy the sexual content might be, but I'm glad to hear from someone who's watched it. :) I saw it on my Netflix recommendations, and it looked pretty interesting enough. I feel the same way about the Cooking genre. ^_^ I just really find it fascinating.
Sure thing! Some more that I recommend highly are Arte, Blood Blockade Battlefront, Cowboy Bebop, Flying Witch, Great Pretender, Honey and Clover, and Tower of God. :) Oh, and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust.
As for me, I mainly love Sol/Iyashikei, Fantasy, Adventure, Romance, Reverse Harem, and basically almost anything to do with food lol. XD I do like the Sports genre and musical type stuff though. :3 I'll watch Sci-Fi stuff from time to time, but it just depends on what the story is about.
Comedy I've become picky on... Ecchi I can kinda tolerate as long as it's not the "main" theme, or it showcases very little of it. Otherwise, I won't watch it. Horror I'm very iffy/picky about due to various reasons, so I only watch it if I know I'm not gonna be totally freaked out by it.
BL isn't my forte, but I'll watch it if the story & characters are good. :) No Yaoi though, or anything sexual in general. (Unless it's censored, or only implied.)

Nice. :) My first anime was Pokemon, but back then I couldn't differentiate anime from cartoons, since I was practically a baby lol. XD It wasn't until Naruto first premiered on Toonami, that I truly understood what anime was. One Piece, Digimon, Prince of Tennis, Mar, and several others I HAD to watch back in the day. XD Vampire Knight was one of my first manga's, and I absolutely love the anime too. I'll say that Nana definitely put me on a rollercoaster full of feels, but it was worth it. I procrastinated on watching it for idk how long, but ever since watching it last year, I've been hooked on it. I'm also reading the manga, but it's been hard for me to get copies of certain volumes of it due to it being kinda rare, and the pandemic.
So yeah, I'd be happy to give out more recommendations sometime! ^_^ Do you have any particular genres that you really like?
