Absolutely one of my favourites. The later episodes definitely get less breezy than the beginning and the characters can make some boneheaded decisions but I think changing either of those nitpicks would only weaken the show overall. It delivers a satisfying ending with a lot of great jokes and touching moments throughout. At the very least this is the best execution of a harem anime I've seen if for no other reason than that Ryuu isn't just some bland loser that attracts every cute girl for no apparent reason. In fact he's probably too good for the followers he does gain throughout the story.
