Canute

Having just finished watching this, I find myself conflicted over how to feel about this anime.  The last three episodes went to far for me in terms of negative content.  (Too much violence, torture, sex, and perversion.)  Yet, I found myself strongly caring about the characters and what would happen to them.  Also, I kept wondering whether a solution to the conflict other than extermination of one side or the other would be possible.  On that last question, the anime makes one hope and despair by turns.  The anime is chock full of suffering, and some of those forms of...
