Yo yo and hello! How's it hanging? I've been checking out your profile & was wondering if you'd be up for giving me some rec's my guy. Manga rec's specifically.
Ya see I dislike reading books in general. However that is only because I have barely read anything in my life and I've yet to find something I truly love yet (well there's wh40k but that's literally it so far :P) and well.. I'd like to get into manga if possible. As it stands I've only really read abit of one called Solo Leveling (technically a Manhwua that korean thing) which I stalled at chapter 44. I plan to go back and finish it cause its good and I like it but MMORPG/Isekei themed stuff is not one of my favourite genres and I prefer things to be "real" if you know what I mean. I still can and will like them from time to time (I LOVE the Overlord anime <3) but for me at least they are not the best introduction to the medium of either anime or manga. More of a niche thing really.
I've been recommended things before by some friends like Air gear and Berserk (which thematically speaking seems right up my alley but also its seems to be way to long XD) and I've ofc heard of big stuff like Death note, One piece (manga), hunter x hunter etc..
But like.. idk I just feel none of those would "hook" me into the medium.
I'm extra interested now in trying to get into manga's cause you spoke about that Chainsaw Man manga in the forums recently and after checking it out it really looks cool and like something i might personally really like. Other things I'm thinking I might really like are Claymore or Highschool of the dead.
I guess what I'm trying to say is like... do you think any of those or anything are good for a total beginner? Like is the art style good as in like coherent and you can see whats happening without getting confused? Like in a fight scene for instance?
Gosh I sound like such an ass with all my questions lol XD. But yeah so do you think you can help me find something or am I a lost cause? lol
