I adore the main characters and for the first 2/3 it was a 10/10 for me. It lost me a little bit in the last several chapters with the misunderstandings dragging on, but only enough to drop my rating down a little bit. I'll definitely finish it whenever the rest comes out.
QRD:It's your generic brand romance that falls into the same annoying repetitious tropes. The MC is a softie and the Fml is basically the top. You'll fall for the sweet illusion this manhwa casts till chapter 40-41, that's when you realize "Ah, it's just like the others". That being said, it has its redeeming qualities, Lily's design is nice along with Kiyu's grandmother, the females in this are very distinguished, but that could be said for most of the side characters. The art is pretty nice, but not nice enough to save me from the headache caused from all the miscommunication, misunderstanding angst and extra shit. It's the achilles of the romance genre. Though if you can get past that, the set up and story are enjoyable and it has its diabetic moments. The dynamic between Ki-yu and Lily while being nothing new or ground breaking is still quite appealing. Wait a year or a few months for it to end and then just read it. The verdict is: It's good enough.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
i really love how the characters are written and the main lead girl is different to what i've normally read! i can really feel for her.
its really cute, but the progress is painfully slow and there's so much misunderstanding which annoy me
it did contain some familiar story tropes, but overall it was an enjoyable read. If you're in search of a light and uncomplicated story to pass the time, I would definitely recommend it.
