Villains Are Destined to Die - Reviews

If you are yet to be sold by any of the promising reviews written thus far, this is the sign that you should definitely read this manhwa. Like many others mentioned, I put off reading this because of the admittedly rather tacky title but I was also wary of the cliches that would inevitably end up appearing. To my surprise this manhwa clearly set itself apart from all the other manhwas of the same genre. Gone are the 2D despicable characters who remain as antagonists for no clear reason. Here we can sympathize with the male leads even if their reasons aren't completely justifiable. The characters are fleshed out, nuanced with their own struggles and given reasonable backstories. The writing, the pacing, the art are all *chef's kiss*. I'd write out a 1000 word review if I could but I should probably focus on my thesis due tomorrow instead of this one. Nevertheless, no regrets.

tl;dr READ THE DAMN MANHWA

I really enjoyed this A LOT and I have reread this for the 3rd time now (and counting). The characters all have their own background and characteristics which makes them different, and what I love most about this is that the girl who transmigrated to Penelope can relate to how she feels, rather than a girl who had everything wanted to go back to her past life and disliked how everyone treated her. I thought the plot of how it was a game was impressive, but the art itself was so phenomenal and made me love each and every character.

Personally, this manhwa is really interesting ever since someone recommended me it. I like the art, the story, the pain and all. I used to think that it might be like the other villainess manhwas; brave, reckless, etc., but so far Penelope is the first villainess character that is different.

Overall, I recommend!

I had come to chapter 71 and I had forgotten how big of a "cliffhanger" it was... get it? Hahaha!

Oh my word season 2 was fantastic! Next up season 3!!!

This is one of the best, it will make you cry and make you feel heartache over and over during the chapters. You will get too angry over the character and their mentality. This is downright a ride
