Some of the chairs and trees and other things in the backgrounds are basically just coutour sketches or impressionistic smudges, and even the more detailed aspects of the artwork still contain that sketchwork quality to them. But I actually appreciate that aesthetic choice. The slightly rough, just-drawn feel of the art makes the cuteness of the girls and dynamic perspective choices pop all the more.

The sequence of events within chapters isn't always the clearest, but it's still easy enough to follow along with the general vibe since it's not like it's doing anything complex. Some pranks happen. Some manipulation of nature. Some folklorish interpretations of events. Some mysterious items. Though honestly, for a manga whose synopsis suggests that pranking is its main focus, the pranks are pretty lackluster and underdeveloped. The first chapter has the only instance of a truly thought-out prank and even that one was simply underwhelming.

I dunno. It's a simple read. Largely enjoyable because of its cute artwork and pleasant atmosphere. But the pointlessness of the stories combined with the awkwardness of its narrative presentation makes it so I don't feel I can rightly rate it as more than a 3/10.

2/10 story
9/10 art
