So she's a little generic. It happens often. But it's still fun! Weak Isekai protagonist shunned by royalty is actually super strong and cool! Not a new concept. But it has the casual progression and fun main character that I crave. The stakes aren't world threatening, the op main character is only op compared against average people, and can't yet stand up to those that are truly strong. As always, I worry that as it progresses it'll bite off more than it can chew but until then it's a solid read and I eagerly await more.

In the first few chapters, I'm sorta just waiting for the intro stuff to settle down and for the story to actually settle into a groove. And honestly, I'm not entirely sure if it's done that yet. You could argue that it settled into a training groove from chapters 2-8 or that it's likely to settle into some sort of forest groove starting with chapters 11-12, but most of that has still felt like the author is just setting the stage. I don't really have any idea what the larger trajectory of the manga will be. My best guess is that Reito won't actually spend much more time in the forest and will end up traveling to different countries and meeting the six races (humans, elves, beasts, giants, demons, and dwarves). Perhaps fe'll have a clear goal during feir travels. Perhaps not. And perhaps there won't be any traveling at all and I'm just wrong.

For what the manga currently is, I do think that it has some potential to be cool. Though I say that fully aware that I can be somewhat of a sucker for these types of storylines. Reito is overcoming the weaknesses associated with feir Jobs by making the most of feir large mana capacity and by combining skills to create more powerful hybrid skills. The fact that fe was able to start developing skills as an infant (because fe was reincarnated with the mind of a fifteen-year-old) is definitely what made feir abnormal development possible. The way that fe ends up using feir "support" magic to boost femself and actually be combatively active is reminiscent of Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata: Senjou wo Kakeru Kaifuku Youin, though definitely less humorous in its execution.

Okok, so I'm a big sucker for stuff like this, but I'm also pretty critical since it's oversaturated. So I am enjoying reading this manga. However, it's not really anything new (so far at least) and we've been introduced to a somewhat disappointing new character in chapter 14 that makes me worried for the story and overall the characters are somewhat two dimensional no pun intended.

It's too early to really say if this is or isn't worth reading. I like that our protagonist is hiding impressive and hard earned abilities because of being "jobless" something you're born with. And that predicament puts them into a kinda exciting situation they had to escape—which I'm desperately hoping remains a significant part of the plot otherwise I'm a lil sad. I'll still read it.

Big dog is a good vibe tho.

(Keep in mind this falls well into the reincarnated isekai stories you're already familiar with, unclear if there will be a harem but there probably will be and the protagonist is deceptively OP but is often discriminated against or underestimated for being jobless.)

In summary... At chapter 14 the story is adequately spiced with salt and pepper and nothing more.
