Written in the format of a narrarated fairytale with rough art, it's a manhwa that Summarizes (or tells you things that happened, rather than showing them happening) which is a lesser form of storytelling in many ways.  In this case, the author just couldn't compress everything he wanted to tell very well so he summarized most of it and word vomited it all out.

The story starts out very 'once upon a time a man met a woman and blah blah their romance blah blah then they had two kids yadda yadda' then goes very fairy tale 'a mysterious old man appeared at their resteraunt one day asking for a meal and, after they gave him one for free, he gave them a mysterious enchanted painting that whispered to the boy and entranced him for many years, healing his sickly body, seemingly at the expense of his mind' so that's what I mean by narrated fairytale.  It bears similarities to several classic fairytales with a Murim (Chinese Fantasy Martial Arts)  twist to it so it's really a rather unique manwha.

However, as it is bland and reads more like a boring old novel with a level of art that doesn't really make it 'worth' being made into a manhwa, the story would have likely been better off as just a book.  Those who greatly love fairytales and don't care about art will probably enjoy it much more than I did.

This is another cultivation story but in the vast flow of those type of stories this one stands out. First of all the main character obtain power by an original way (no spoil). Moreover the main character has a good personnality he is not the boring one that spare everyone nor the psycopath that kill without battling an eye. And generaly each characters in the story has particularities. But as the story keep going the plot is becoming quite boring, the story lack some purpose for the main character to reach. Moreover the way to cut the boards is quite chaotic wich can lost the readers.

I advise you to read this manhua if you are already experienced with cultivation type manga.

Review:

Awesome story! Has the same feels as Peerless dad but at least here, all of the family are alive and kicking and they are all badass. 10/10

Gets progressively less interesting the farther you get into it. I am actually pretty fond of the art style, everything seems more fluid.
