My Blade Will Lead the Way! Abandoned in a Labyrinth as a Directionally Challenged S-Rank Swordsman

The swordsman, Jir, had just joined a well-known S-rank party when he finds himself stranded all alone in the hardest labyrinth. Normally, there's no way to survive such a situation other than to wait for rescue. Relying on nothing but his heroic sword skills, Jir decides to escape on his own! "Heh! You're all bark and no bite, Labyrinth!" he boldly declares. Due to his extremely poor sense of direction, he's completely unaware that he's headed towards the deepest level where the labyrinth boss awaits!!

this is my  first time writing a review and this review is incredebly biased i don't know if it is actually a 10/10 but to me it is i absolutely love it. characters: most of the time in manga especially isekai the characters are kind of meh especially the main character, but in this manga i absolutely love every single one of the main characters even the supporting characters are likable but i just love the dynamic between the main characters. it's so good that it makes me so invested just watching the characters slowly get closer. they're all so stupid and i love them. story: the base plot is kind of basic but the ways in which they get there is so unique and fun, especially the how the main cast meet and move in the plot, it doesn't feel unnatural and it feels like the characters always act in a way that makes sense for them. there's also some plot twists that are so amazingly done. i also love how all the main characters are equally strong. this allows for the characters to have to rely on each other and bond with each other and i just love manga about teams or parties that actually function together and synergize. because a lot of the time character's are in a team but they mostly just fight individual battles. and in a lot of fantasy/isekai the main character is just so overwhelmingly overpowered that there's no point in having a team and the teamates just end up being there just to praise the protagonist or there's no team at all and it's just about some edgy loner. so im glad it's not like that. Art:  the art is so gorgeous. the character designs are unique and charming and the artstyle is so soothing. but it also get's so detailed and gritty during some fight scenes, the attacks are also so beautiful and i love it. especially there's this magic user and whenever he uses magic it's just nice to look at. i love the character relationships and the story and the beautiful art. it's also pretty rare for an isekai to not be about the contrived harem of an overpowered bland piece of uncooked flacid bread, i do not like harems. they always involve really contrtived and forced ways of making the harem girls fall for the protag. so im happy this isn't like that.  basically it's a really refreshing isekai that where the main characters act as a team and they're such good characters 10/10 :)

I recommend this one if you want to read a full adventure story with lil bits of comedy with an ACTUAL plot. The MC is a dragon slayer, cursed to be unable to see anything clearly, making him have to wear glasses every time, and also has a long-lasting curse of being bad at directions lol. The story starts with MC getting stuck in a dungeon. It begins pretty light-hearted and comedic as the other characters who also got stuck start getting introduced as MC eventually becomes their partner/companion and helps each other out to escape from the dungeon. But it eventually takes a turn for the worse as MC and his friends start to get deranged by the journey of being stuck with no sight of the ending as their enemies start to get harder and harder to defeat. It gets psychological and gets pretty heavy as the MC and his friends try to figure out the mystery behind the dungeon. It makes you want to hold on to your seat due to the massive excitement you'll experience. This is just so interesting, you might think it would be the typical fantasy where the MC is so OP and shocks everyone when he comes out and typical stuff. The MC is indeed op, BUT his companions are also fucking op and are full of geniuses. This is just not the usual fantasy shit as the author really likes giving the readers and the characters a reality check while also showing the MC becoming stronger alongside his weaknesses, especially since the MC is very mentally unstable :/ Anyway I really recommend it a lot, the plot is just so GOOD~!! I wish future mangas/light novels would be like this, it actually has a plot!!! T-T Really love authors who actually balance out the serious stuff, and the comedic and light-hearted side. This made the story not boring at all and continued to be interesting. Other mangas that also use this structure: Youkai Gakkou no Sensei Hajimemashita, Gintama
