This manga is boring and frustrating. The MC is a cuck, one of the worst cuck that I have ever seen but you can know it from the synopsis ( It's didnt disturb me but i saw on MAL that a bunch of people were complaining, well I dont know what kind of person you want the MC to be knowing he rents a "girlfriend" but yes...)

The main problem of that story (i'm on chapter 145 so clearly far in the story) is the pace, it's one of the slowest if not the slowest pace that I have ever seen and oh gosh I have seen many things. Basically you have idiot MC who is in love with the fake girlfriend, this one is quickly in love with him too but both will NEVER admit it. Sometimes at the end of the chapter you have a hope for the following chapter but finally it was a prank.

You are doomed to see an idiot MC (who has less testosterone than my 80 years old grandpa) complaining about how he's a worthless loser and an idiot girl who does not want to admit her love without any reasons. She does not even send signals, you cant even guess that she's in love with MC, you only know it because she suggests it once or twice while talking to an another character... That's why this story is soo frustrating.

In more than the half of the 145 chapters, you just have a fake date with the fake girlfriend with the girl who acts almost everytime coldly and beside her you have the MC, awkward and idiot everytime.

(minor spoilers) obviously you have the harem with the worthless MC. He has an another cute rental girlfriend who is openly in love with him, she becomes more and more annoying throughout the story. You have the ex of the MC who dumped him but for some reasons, she's still in love with him and she's possessive with him even if she's not with him (she will hugely stalks the MC). This girl is probably the most interesting character of the story.

Finally the only redeeming quality of this manga is his art. It's modern and beautiful, girls are well drawn and cute but that's all..

This manga is one of those manga that the more you progress throughout the story, the more you will hate it. The author had a good idea but he totally messed up the pace and the growning relationship between both MC. I absolutely do not recommend to read it.

I am on chapter 199 when I say this, but the author is just milking the story at this point, no probably since chapter 150 or so, The characters are fuckin dumb, all of them, not a single good character (except sumi, mostly because she doesn't get in anyone's way), And Kazuya has to be the worst MC ever created. Every chapter he's like "I am gonna confess", the next chapter he's like, "guess I'll do it tomorrow", Ruka and Mami are freakin cockblocks, And the MC still simps over about any girl in the manga, I swear to god, I still won't say Mizuhara deserves better or something, Cuz just like every other character, her actions completely contradict what she's going for, She just keeps giving a vague sense of hope, only to break it later, The only thing they have got going is the art, everything else is utter shit.

It's just so bad....
 I feel like it was a really promising manga, unfortunately, the mangaka lost his passion for it, and somehow, even after reading 200 chapters, I felt like I had read about 15 chapters, thanks to the lack of development. The characters are sick, like, Ruka has a mental problem... 
 The main character is a weak simp, that can't see a girl or he's about to jerk, and after that 218 chapter, I'm pretty much over this ridiculous manga.... 

 I'll always look at this manga with a lot of respect, since, thanks to Reiji, I know exactly what NOT to do as a writer.

QRD:Convoluted, overrated and over the top, there's really no appeal to reading this. Save yourself the time. The comments and arguments surrounding the manga are more entertaining than the story itself.

I'm not here to review the art because that's not what's important to me. The most important aspect of a manga is the story! I'm not here to review any other aspect other than how horrible this manga was. I started reading and I couldn't stop! I was burning through pages for the first 50 chapters. I think what kept me reading so much and so fast was the idea that chizuru and kazuya we're going to finally be together. The more I continue to read the more disappointed I became and the series that I once loved, I started to hate.

At first I didn't hate the series but I hated chizuru because she didn't realize what she had and she just kept denying kazuya. But then I kept reading and the more I read the more I hated the series itself. I read stuff like this for the romance. I read stuff like this for the main character to get with the girl he loves. I think the best part about a romance series like this is you don't know when they're going to get together or how they're going to get together but they're going to get together. I think that if you read ahead or you Google if the characters get together or Google when they get together that spoils the series for you and it spoils that feeling of kilig!! I got so disgusted with the series around chapter 75 that I skipped to the last available chapter(230) and saw that they still weren't together and that chizuru still hadn't confessed and or realized her feelings for kazuya. There's no development in their romance chapter 20 is the same as chapter 230. The mangaka is just drawing this series out for no good reason.

Step out of the damn way then and make room for someone else who really loves kazuya and is willing to admit it. I really wish I never started reading this because now I have this feeling where I need kazuya to be with chizuru but I will never see it. Do yourself a favor and don't start reading this garbage!
