The characters are a little boring but the art was nice and the story was enjoyable. I liked this quite a bit and the twist towards the end added a lot. I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter quite a bit. CH 29

For a manga with an interesting title, the story and characters are so depressingly average. None of them actually stand out from the crowd and the FL is the generic, overpowered FL with a harem of overpowered hot guys. She said she wanted to create alcohol and spread it out amongst the nobles and introduce different types in their world but the story barely focuses on creating or appreciating alcohol. The author throws that in as an afterthought, which really ruins the premise promised by the title. The humor and the characters are introduced one by one and then discarded when their use and background has been explained in a chapter or two. If we were to create an alternative title, it should be The Villainess With A Cheat Skill Uses It To Create A Harem Of Neutral Flavored Boys But Sometimes She Makes Alcohol. Not bad, not good, very average. I wouldn't read it for the first time if I could.

I kind of want to translate the title as 'Because of Alcohol, an Otome Game Setting was Destroyed and the Villainess Became a Cheat' because that's... what it says and frankly, what happens, on multiple levels.  Given a large cup of alcohol by her brother and passing out drunk, the 'villainess' in an otome game wakes up with her past life's memories with 6 months to spare before her Bad End would have come to be.  This mostly plays out as any villainess otome, so you probably know what to expect (unless this is your first villainess otome, in which case I'd ask you not judge the whole subgenre by this manga lmao) it's pretty average- but with a recurring theme of alcohol as the main character... is an alcoholic lover of all things that are tasty and can get one drunk.  But is now underage.  Lol. Also, surpise, surprise- she has RIDICULOUS cheat magic because, why not.  OP is an understatement.  Romance and stuff?  Yeah, that's there too.  All average cliche stuff though, nothing worth writing home about.  Solid average.
