I’m actually surprised I ended up reading this whole thing considering I never really got into it. It just wasn’t that good in my opinion. I don’t mind when characters get killed off so that wasn’t a problem for me but there’s literally like no character development at all and they are very one dimensional. The few characters that actually have some potential get very few scenes. The main character only got even a little interesting towards the latter part of the story and is pretty boring throughout. So I guess he improved a bit. The only time that I liked him was when he was fighting (and that was rare). The story wasn’t really anything special and the world building was just okay. That being said, there were some good moments and plot twists that I enjoyed a bit. I wouldn't say that this manga is super dark but it is a little creepy, idk if I'd classify it as horror though.
Future Classic. Nothing else to say.
You get confused a lot about what is going on and why certain things are happening until you get into the chapters in the 80's, then get confused again, then it clears up again in the last few chapters. The characters are amazing and really cool and pretty easy to keep track of. The art is pretty nice but can get a little confusing with all the effects and too much black but it is still really good.
This Manga is better than its adaptation, but it still isn't amazing. The plot is barely above average and the characters are cool, but nothing in the story made me say "Hey! This shit good!" I could reread, but not for a long time.
This was fucking depressing but totally worth it.
