The Sacred Blacksmith was entertaining overall. Along with the dark sword & sorcery fare, which, as a D&D fan, I found appealing from the beginning, there were also comic moments and a dash of ecchi to lighten things up. I liked all the characters and enjoyed their interactions. The action scenes were well-done, but some parts did seem a bit rushed.

Ah where to begin with this anime, I truly love the plot, characters and especially the animation. So flutent and smooth, this series gave me the same feel when I play Zelda games, oh boy!

I really don't wanna dive into the whole plot, because I get it, there are ton of reviews stating what the show has in store, ah and I love what it offered ! :>

The reason I watched this anime is because it was a recommendation from anime's related to Kazuma no Stigma, Ah I love Cherami Leigh. She is my top favorite female voice actress. The voice actor For Luke, was new and different and I really enjoyed it.

I really love how much Luke Ainsworth reminds me of Link, He is just a brown haired link with a blind eye and more.. deep into his backstory //cough// dramatic //cough//

Luke is a very amazing character, his personality is very nicely written and his character design is very unique and he gives off the mysterious hero that doesn't really intend to be one, but he is.

He has flaws and that's what makes him more lovable, plus he really fits the role of a hero. I love how he his relationship interest is a female knight with anger issues and nice set of ta ta's, and not some firly, bimbo or flat chested blushy girl, who can't do sh*t. I mean Cecily tries, and her efforts pull through and progression makes the character even more lovable, I mean Cecily reminds me of Ayano alot. Her speech or movements, her anger issues and even her personality and warm hair, And firey eyes.

The animation is good and well designed, I really liked it.

The story is well placed, it gives this adventure touch. In which the reason your reading/watching this manga/anime or planning to, is probably because of the action and adventure if not and your only looking for boobs, comedy and romance then eh, you'll get that, along side fantasy fights.

Honestly It is probably one of favorites right up where Sekirei, Kazuma No Stigma, Seikon No Qwaser, Gakuen Alice, and Earl and Fairy. I am currently watching Shakugan no Shana, and man it is GOOD.

My final opinion about this anime/manga, is It should have had 24 episodes, and a second season.

But, I guess the best things end quicker. But anyways its a 10/10 for me

You need to watch/read this anime/manga it's really worth your time.

With a tsundure male protagonist sucks, with too many cliques, sus, you don't need to explain how amazing the protagonist is the viewers can tell. this is a complete waste of time don't watch it.

The Scared Blacksmith is a damn entertaining anime, but the plot is not clear and the ending leaves much to be desired. However the anime has a great cast of developed characters and the anime's strength is in its subtle character development. More in video review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zz15ih1KU3g

Sacred Blacksmith! I think it's safe to say this was one of my first "fantasy/medieval" themed anime. I'm really into those genres, so it's kind of suprising that I haven't watched more. I'm not going to write a long essay review, because that's not how I do things. I never followed the crowds anyways, so who cares?? Here we go~

The Good Things:

I really liked the setting! The world, the technology, and the dark aspect of a "demon contract" It's that happy simple life where people aren't so lacking in technology that they feel primitave, but it's well enough that everyone can get what they need to live happy and fufilled lives.

Blacksmiths are so wonderful! I admit that's what drew me to this in the first place. I wish our world still had them, I want someone to make me a good battle-spear. I'm really interested in how "traditional" weapons are created.

I love the clothes in this anime! Me being a cosplayer might of had an effect on this. The design of the characters were really detailed, and original, and just lovely!

While the concept of a weapon also being a person might not be a first, it was for me. This is my first experience in it. Who could think that a sword could also turn into such a kind and beautiful lady? But you also feel bad for her because of it, she doesn't know why she was born into such a being, and I don't think she likes killing any more than Cecily does.

The bonds between the characters, especially Cecily and Aria. That's a true pair of friends right there. And I enjoyed seeing Cecily and Luke's relationship slowly start to come to light.

The Bad Things:

It was too short! I felt like they could have done a lot more with the story, expanded on it more or something! I can't tell if it felt rushed, or incomplete. Maybe it'll get a sequel?

While I can appreciate crude humor just as well as the next anime fan, I did feel like them making fun of Cecily's big boobs in just about every episode a little tiring after awhile. I really was amused with it at first because it seemed like someone was finally coming out and making fun of how all anime girls have such large chests. But after hearing about it so often, it just got old.

I was really hoping to see Cecily and Luke hook up in the end. It was strongly hinted, but I guess I would have liked more of a solid confirmation!
