Soul Eater Not! - Reviews

All right another day another review and as it so happens it's Soul Eater Not!Which NOT only isn't Soul Eater but also has an exclamation mark.Honestly i don't know why cause it's not extra special or extra nice and smooth and sweet.In fact it's horrible.i don't think there are words in the english vocabulary to describe how bad an experience this anime is.So i'll go ahead and make one..It's arjegarplag,which stands for this anime is so shitty my head exploded.

And where do i start really?What can i say about an anime so bland it makes celery look interesting?Ι know..Let's start with the obvious.The shameless connection to Soul Eater.SE and SEN are worlds apart.One is a horny Latina with a heart of gold and the other is midget with a bad temper and enough hatred for humanity to restart a dead planet.

Story?Don't know,don't even think there's one.Even if there is one by the time i was midway through the anime my eyes had turned to dust and my brain had commited sepuku.I can't begin to imagine what was going through their heads when they decided to use the Soul Eater name in this piece of otherwordly nightmare.So ok they wanted to let their hair down and make a Slice of Life with some yuri and some other shit.Why not name it something else?Start clean?Oh i see,how would people stand up and give notice?Well the recipe as it happens is easy.You use a bait to lure them into this hellhole and then torture them until the end of time.And since they used the SE name they had to justify it somehow so some characters from SE make brief appearances here and there.

Sound and visual department?Couldn't care less to be honest but i think they were ok-ish.

Characters you say?There are some yes....Oh you want me to be more specific!Too bad for ya,life's too short.

Now you're probably thinking:"What the fucking hell man?You wasted 4 minutes of our lives to tell us....Nothing"?Exactly!!!!It doesn't have anything worth mentioning.It doesn't have any redeeming features like it has no genitals.It's as interesting as watching your hair grow,and just as boring.If you have spare time watch something else.Don't do this to your self.You saw the original and liked it?Leave it at that and don't go anywhere near this.Avoid it like you would avoid having sex with a hooker with herpes.

Fans of Soul Eater will find Soul Eater Not! to be an apt title for this prequel series. It is Soul Eater in that it takes place in the Soul Eater universe, but it is not the same show.

There are elements woven throughout the series that bear the markings of the original, from some of the comical namings of things (i.e. the coffeehouse or a certain TV show the main characters indulge in) to many a cameo appearance by familiar faces found in Soul Eater. If you hope to learn more about these favorite original characters by watching this, you'll find a few appetizers but not much else. It's like having old friends stop by for a visit unannounced only to learn soon after that they cannot stay more than a few minutes.

If you to find many more of the absurd-yet-fun, over-the-top characters, be they heroes or villians, you may be disappointed. There are a few new characters that are fair additions (and I'd challenge anyone to deny how adorable Kana is!) but when compared to the original series, none of them really stand out. Another element that is quite different is the pacing of the story. Soul Eater Not! does enjoy the makings of another solid villian, but that storyline takes what early on feels like forever to develop, and when some of those elements breakthrough, rather than driving onward to the finish, there's another multi-episode lull before returning to the finish. And the action sequences which pepper the original series are also hard to find in this one. One almost believes that the finale will be filled with action, but is left in the end somewhat wanting.

The story itself isn't terrible. The new main characters are likeable and while stylistically a bit different from the original, the show is drawn well. The opening credit music is catchy. There were very few surprises, however, in the plotline, and that predictability leaves the overall viewing experience to be somewhat flat.

If you have an interest in watching Soul Eater Not! I recommend starting with Soul Eater, as there would be value in knowing the main characters before encountering them in this series. And fans of the original may find value in the appetizers of seeing some old friends once more.

Had to be the worst Anime I ever seen....

This anime that i just watch was horrible, plot of the three girls are wants to be so friendly but only problem is she must have only one partner,

Story goes a evil wants to rule and take control of any living humans.

The good is funny and voice acting is good plus no hidieous character except the hentai part.

The bad!

All they care is about each other and doesnt make scent to even try to make her go back to normal when you got more people being under control... The annoying part was im sorry im sorry im sorry, so annoying! They should already know that there already friend for long time and saying sorry i didnt mean too..... The girl with black hair is stupid for saying either my dog or brother i dont know is in the hospital and then start yelling at them for no reason? those 2 girls doesn't even know her family, what the heck?? If it was me I never met her family be like oh okay sure Another thing they should already know she under control by someone! since they be told not to go there but a message was sent by her friend to see her again but after that attack they have no idea What the heck is going on???

Not a good anime when you are into story

.. quite possible Black Butler is your best suit.

The manga was really good, but the anime is a serious disapointment.

• The animation is horrible compared to Soul Eater
• There were such amazing facial expressions in the manga that were not properly translated into the show Example: 
• Everything was more focused on being cute?? it just took away from the serious parts of the actual story
• If you liked Soul Eater, this is just pathetic

This anime was ok... i mean i was expect a bit more action bit it was overall of i wouldnt want to see it again because it was slow and kind of confusing in so areas so i conclud its an alnernate univers.
