First, I would like to start saying my personal big impression about this kind of stories. I think this could be consider like the Iliad of our modern times, not only Naruto, I would include the most popular of manga and anime, because they are so popular for the simple reason that they are great works.
Second, my impression about Naruto was one of he who sees a real deep well of wisdom.

The beginning of Naruto is a little boring but if you just keep on watched you'll soon love it I know that. Also the story and animation is amazing and the characters character development is great. Over the show is amazing and I reccommend to any people who are staarting to watch anime.
