Knight's & Magic - Reviews

This anime targets a younger audience, perhaps 13 and younger - at least I hope that was the intent. If you're an adult expecting an adult show, you'll be disappointed. If you don't mind watching simpler anime, then this is a pretty good show.

Since I'm reviewing this as an adult, I rate it 6/10. The writing is simply too illogical and silly to give it a score any higher than that. If I were early teens, I'd probably give it an 8/10.

Awesome first season, though it's kind of like "Wise man's grandchild" with robots lol. Even the first scene is basically the same.

This anime is about a genious boy who loves robots and have a dream to make one himself.

Based on what I watched.. the anime clearly shows what it wants the viewers to focus in.

The anime often jumps its timeline. ("2 years after..", "months later..", and so on..) Just like when the war came. It didn't show most of the fight.. It just narrates the results. But ofcourse, when The Order of Silver Pheonix is in the battlefield, they have to show the battle since they are the main characters and they can't upgrade the machines if nothing happens in the battle. right?

I actually like it.

Since they are not showing unnecessary things like strategic battle just because there is a war. They stick to what they want to show,

and that is!!!!

THE BOY UP THERE AND HIS LOVE WITH ROBOTS!

P.S: The last thing that I watched shows too many unnecessary things.. maybe that's why I like this one. +_+

Let me begin with saying that if you are looking for an anime that you could see in a sleep deprived state this is probably one of those animes. I don't really care about how isekais are overused and such, I just watch anime for fun.

Ok so this anime in my opinion is going way too fast, it feels like you are learning about a world war in a few hours. The story in the manga is probably much better, but I don't read much.

The animation is pretty good. I don't see so many mecha animes so I can't really judge on how good the fights are, but it looks pretty good to me.

The sound sounds alright at best for me, but the big negative for me was the OVA, it could just be on the website I watched this on but the SFX was very loud in the OVA. For me this was a big negative for me since in my opinion the OVA defines how good an anime is and this proves me right.

The characters have the same problem as the story for me, they skip a big chunk of the story and that also means a big chunk of character progressions.  As I have seen you have good characters that are ruined by not having any story behind them, and are turned into hollow characters with basically no story to why they do what they do.
