I am 69 years old... which means I can see many sides in a question.

while I can see why older teenagers object to this anime, on the grounds that is too small or might be too childish for their tastes; they fail to realize that this anime is not for older teens.

”In Another World With My Smartphone”... is for younger teens and younger still.

so let’s look at this anime in a different light.

We’ll begin with production values.

Is there anythng wrong with the artwork?

No. In fact, it is quite beautiful, with high detail, good brightness, and is very colorful.

Is the sound quality lacking.

No. The foley and the dialog is excellent. The soundtrack is also quite animated and pretty. And the OP and ED is spot-on for this anime. Remember its intended audience... young people. For them, it’s just what the doctor ordered.

Now let’s talk about characters. Most of the primary characters are young, teenage girls. Which is very convenient if a young teen, in real Life is bashful, and has trouble meeting young ladies. A bevy of beauties, each with different appearence and personalities, is often just the kind of harem young teen boys want to see.

If you gag, you are too old for this anime.

Now we can talk about the story, which also involves the personalities of the characters.

The missing parts of the story involves backstories for most of the characters. For example, our pair of blue-haired blond girls, are too well dressed in high-fashion dresses, to be people who also are impoverished and in need of money to do everything. Taverns to eat food in, hotels to sleep in, replacement clothes items; and the purchase of tools and weapons; are all things that are initially outside of these girls (and others as well) reach, until they all meet up and join our heroic young man.

Luck for all his friends, changes for the better.

That’s just one example, but I think it illustrates a plot development problem. Not severe, but it is there.

now let’s talk more about drives and purposes of these characters.

While there are villains, it is our main characters that are, for me, quite interesting.

Are any of them liars, cheats, or thieves? No. Are any of them cowards? No. Are any of them lazy? No.

If I were a parent, I’d wish that my kid associated with people like these. They are cheerful, well adjusted, and fight with honor; and only when necessary. 

This entire anime is designed to present a picture of what honorable and decent conduct looks like. And I’m glad somebody created this anime.

I’m not finished with this anime yet, but I will. And I will find a way to see the enormous value of this show. The critics who don’t like it, need either to grow a little more... or maybe they should try to find their inner child, one last time. So that the real meaning of this anime will become clear.

I feel sorry for those that can’t, or worse, choose not to.

It's only getting a 4 out of me because it started off decent. It was light-hearted fun. There was a clear harem forming from the beginning but it was kept innocent. The main character was way overpowered but the others were still able to contribute in battle. And then it went to crap. It suddenly became all about fan service and indulging in a fantasy that every woman wants to marry one man. It didn't even have a proper ending. I fast forwarded through much of the last two episodes hoping to come across some plot development. But it was all dribble about the girls pining over the guy wanting to marry him. There was no final challenge or battle to the ending. 

It's not all bad, the beginning part is decent. But I recommended to stop watching once they go to the beach. It's all a disappointment after that. 

This anime is hilarious. Everything about it is terrible and cringey, which made it a fun watch. You will definitely find yourself wondering "where is a demon lord to kill everyone when you need one" throughout the entire thing.

It falls under "so bad its good" for me.

Plus, if you don't have a taste for the terrible, you can always fast forward through all the bad parts and be done in less than 5 minutes. 

The anime wasn't that bad but it would have been thought up better. There was just too much of misunderstandings happening between the Mc and the girls. 
Like the smallest things happens and one of them just explodes into jealousy mode. It was a tad too much.😅 

The way the animation was great as it had some great designs. Eh, I don't want to say on this really im not an expert but I didn't dislike the it was made so... yeah.

Some of you that watch it may not like it but that is fine. All of us have our own thoughts and opinions. Or others that want to watch it don't be swayed from other peoples opinions on the anime as tgey have not like it. However, you have to watch it on your own benefit and decide weather this anime is up to your liking or not.

This anime is just weird they call In Another World With My Smartphone but the anime is not centred around the smartphone does not even use it most of the time and the reason he got transported to another world is just dumb but they did do one thing that surprised me and that is how they ended the anime with polygamous marriage god how hard is it to pick a girl jeez
