come on dont tell me you these two shows feel almost the same but just look at em, Both shows are labled as PISW (person in strange world), they are also both harems shows that star a OP as F*** harem dude as thier main star. they both feel like a video game. i can keep going on forever but the point is that they are very similar.
both are person in strange world (high fantasy) while Phapsody is about land in MMO, Smartphone is just another world. Most important is that both protogonist are Overpowered form start, focused on how new world works, compleating harem in meanwhile ;)
Both series are in the Isekai genre and follow almost the exact same pattern: overpowered protagonist is dropped into the middle of a fantasy medieval setting with immediate love interests and a harem.
They're both pseudo-harem-ish fantasy Isekai where the MC winds up with OP abilities and an entourage.
Both shows are 異世界 (another world).
They both deal with an overpowered protagonist who has a browning harem.
They both mention meetings with God.
They both have an overarching plot but do not focus very heavily on the plot
Overall, they both feel similar, almost spinoffs, in many ways.
Storylines very similar, only video game vs. fantasy world. The protagonists do similar things in that they spend their time rescuing girls to add to their harems.
Both animes seem very familiar, even though it's different circumstances. Main character is an OP stranger (scrawny teenager with dark hair) from a different land and the people around him seem immediately fascinated even if they don't know that. They both build their harems pretty quickly, as well.
Both shows involve a character who is transported to another world and is immediately overpowered. Both characters build a harem throughout the show.
While they do both have some small level of plot, they're mostly focused on the fun of being in another world.
They both are about going to another world with game aspects. They both have main characters with overpowering abilities, whose good at almost everything. They are also traveled with a whole harem of girls.
Both feature a character placed in another world filled with magic, MC is crazy OP, travels with quite a few pretty girls and goes around effortlessly performing feats that would be incredibly difficult/impossible for anyone else. Extremely similar shows all around.
The whole person in another world thing is the same. Simlarly OP protagonists. Similar harem like situation.
a slightly better version of this anime. at least for the small number of eps both produced. this one turns into nothing but fan service and cant decide what genre it wants to be in. where at least "desu machi" as it's dubbed follows a proper story
Both are about a boy getting put into a parallel world and going on adventures while expanding his group.
I loved both of these animes one of them is not being summoned into a game but they both still have alot alike i binged both of em and in the end both left me wanting another season hope they come out with more of both soon
I AGREE WITH YOU bcs its almost the same where they are in another wrldand they are very overpowered.
both anime have Overpower(Cheat) Main Character and transfered to another world. Both Main Character have many girls too in their side(harem)
1. Both are isekai anime.
2. Both are heram.
3. Main character Is over powered.
its practically the same, for me In another world with my smartphone did better as guy made me jealous as to why the shit does'nt happen to me
Both male mc are OP in the sense that they are never really struggle to achieve what they want. I do like both animes so I do agree with this.Smartphone MC does use more of his OP abilities than Death March, but I think both animes you should watch.
After a traffic accident, Kazuma Satou’s disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world’s problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long…
Lead is transported to another world full of magic upon accidental death. Gods or angels grant them a single wish or specialty to have as an apology in the new world. They both start meeting others who join their party early on and have to start by learning how the 'new world' works. Konosuba is a sarcasm story against cliches which is it's excuse for having them so they can be made fun of and is a good series, Smartphone world does not have that.
Extremely similar first episodes with the same plot development. Avoiding spoilers, both protagonists are thrown into a strange world and find themselves finding new women to potentially amaze with their unique clothing to everyone around them and out of place personalities.
Both series are about an ordinary Japanese teenager dying and being resurected by god into another world, which has magic, guilds, and is basically a fantasy RPG.
one of the better "another world" anime, because it doesn't take itself so seriously, the writing is actually decent. and the genre it sticks to is comedy focused. much better all around.
Yuuto Suoh is a boy from modern times who accidentally ended up in the warring world of Yggdrasil. In a world where various clans fight for supremacy and survival of the fittest rules supreme, Yuuto managed to use his modern knowledge as a weapon and the age of sixteen, managed to become a Patriarch with a force of thousands. Welcome to an exhilarating battle fantasy chronicle about a young man who became a king in a parallel world and the beautiful battle maidens who swear absolute fealty to him!!
Both of these animes share a lot of similar overhanging themes and details.
all around awesome
both shiws are about stuck in another world being able to take advantage of a functional smartphone
For me lately I have been watching a lot of anime about characters going to another world of getting stuck in a video game but I watched them both and they are amazing and funny.
Well tbh I just like Harem animes. One of the many reason I like anime is Harem and Romance. I LOVE things like this. I am still a novice about anime stuff, but I LOVE ANIME<3
Is It Wrong to Try and Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? is set in the world of Orario, where adventurers band together and look for treasures in an underground labyrinth known as Dungeon. However, for Bell Cranel, fame and riches are secondary to what he wants to find the most: girls. He soon finds out though, that anything can happen in Dungeon, and winds up being the damsel in distress instead!
Video game elements with a strong male lead and a mostly female support cast set in a magical world with underaged heroes leading the way and atypical amenities like guilds and adventure parties.
Both series feature a fantasy RPG-like world, with loads of awesome magic and different creatures. They're both interesting series, so if you like one, you might want to check the other one out.
while this one isn't another 'transported to another world' anime, it's definitely of a similar vein with magic, levels, etc. if you enjoyed this smartphone anime at all, then you'll like danmachi waayyyyy more because it actually does a all the half decent things in this anime right.
Sistine Fibel and her best friend Rumia Tingel attend the Alzano Imperial Magic Academy, one of the most prestigious magic schools in the Alzano Empire, and are eager to become top-rate magicians. But that won’t be easy as their new instructor is none other than the lazy, bumbling Glenn Radars. He'd rather sleep than teach, seems to have no magical abilities, and drives Sistine crazy with his lackadaisical attitude. Natsuki Subaru, an ordinary high school student, is on his way home from the convenience store when he finds himself transported to another world. As he's lost and confused in a new world where he doesn't even know left from right, the only person to reach out to him was a beautiful girl with silver hair. Determined to repay her somehow for saving him from his own despair, Subaru agrees to help the girl find something she's looking for...
The leads are suddenly transported to a new world though one is upon death. it is a magical world with a strong male lead and all girl support cast for the most part. Both go as they were in their previous life and start with nothing but the clothes on their backs and whatever is on their persons. They meet a girl almost immediately who helps them navigate and understand the new world.
Both the male leads get pulled into a different world. Both worlds are somewhat medieval and contain magic. Their personalities seem pretty similar as well. If you enjoy anime adaptions of light novels, you should enjoy them both. I did.

You man is teleported to an alternate magical world set in a fantasy style. They meet a pair of siblings fairly early on in the story/anime. Both lead male characters find they have exceptional magical powers. Knights and Magic however stands out more with a more unique spin on the tale and a nix on relying so heavily on standard fair video game rpg references. Knights and Magic is a much better and way more original story.
After saving a fairy-tale kingdom, Akatsuki returns to the real world with his prize—Myuu, the busty daughter of the defeated Demon King. It’s one hell of a happy ending until they’re forced to enroll at a school for magic users. There, Akatsuki can’t keep his hands off the girls, Myuu’s constantly ballooning measurements make her a walking wardrobe malfunction, and it seems like someone is always plotting against them.
Both anime have a simple story, Hero is in a world different to the one he knows and has to make a new life.
These two anime are almost identical in most aspects, both are OP main characters, both are surrounded by girls, in both the main character doesnt glote or flaunt their strenght at every oppertune moment, both have variying degrees of fan service, both of them are focused around action and magic. The list goes on.
