okay, this one is really good! I don't really like CG animation while I'm watching anime but the story and the character are too good and the animation is not one such a strong CGI you want to puke because it's a real turn-off. Seeing how they even use animals to expose serious themes is one of the things that makes this such a fine artwork.   the characters are really well built too there's not someone completely good or bad they are just humans (? maybe animals humanoids idk) but this aspect makes the story even more reliable and amusing. and... VEGAN POWER HAHAHAHAHA

You think that you might not enjoy this anime because of people posting small bits of strange looking scenes online with no context, I watched it all in one sitting overnight and i was fascinated. The story of the characters is like no other that ive seen and every character develops and changes either in a positive light or negative light. Definitely an anime you need to watch at least once through.

Beastars invites viewers into a unique and compelling world where carnivores and herbivores coexist, grappling with their instincts, fears, and desires. As a fan of thought-provoking anime, I found myself captivated by the intricate storytelling and complex characters that define this series.

The narrative of Beastars revolves around the tensions between carnivores and herbivores in a high school setting. Against the backdrop of a mysterious murder, the series delves into themes of prejudice, societal expectations, and the struggle for self-identity. The plot is both intricate and suspenseful, with each episode unraveling new layers of the characters' lives and the intricacies of the world they inhabit.

One of the standout features of Beastars is the depth and complexity of its characters. Legoshi, the protagonist, undergoes significant development as he grapples with his instincts and feelings. The supporting cast, including characters like Haru and Louis, adds depth to the narrative, each with their own struggles and motivations. The exploration of relationships, both platonic and romantic, feels genuine and emotionally resonant.

The animation quality in Beastars is outstanding, with a unique visual style that brings the anthropomorphic characters to life. The character designs are expressive, and the use of lighting and shadows enhances the atmosphere, contributing to the overall mood of the series. The fluidity of the animation is particularly impressive during the dynamic and intense action sequences.

Beastars goes beyond its animal-centric setting to provide insightful commentary on human nature and societal expectations. The series tackles issues of prejudice, identity, and the complexities of navigating relationships in a way that feels relevant and thought-provoking. The exploration of these themes adds layers to the story, making it more than just a high school drama with anthropomorphic characters.

The soundtrack of Beastars complements the mood and themes of the series perfectly. The music enhances the emotional impact of key scenes, creating a captivating atmosphere. The use of sound, coupled with the exceptional voice acting, brings the characters to life and contributes to the overall immersive experience.

Beastars is a triumph in storytelling, animation, and thematic exploration. Its ability to seamlessly blend a unique world with universal themes makes it a standout anime. Whether you're drawn to character-driven dramas, intricate plots, or thought-provoking social commentary, Beastars offers a multifaceted viewing experience that is as captivating as it is intellectually stimulating.

(spoiler free review) this was an enjoyable watch. I could feel the intensity of the world in many of the episodes. The mc (legosi) is such a sweetheart. The opening song, & the fact this show revolves around animals was unique. A cool thing about this show is the combination of different genres that will appeal to a wide range of people. If ur into psychological, shonen, school life, romance, mystery or comedy give this show a try. And if u enjoyed zootopia like me, definitely give this a try as its basically the adult version.
