ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNODROPS! Story: Have you ever seen Sound of Music? There's a song called "Do, Re, Mi" with a large section is devoted to singing using only the names of certain notes. This is like that, but without the explanation for the note names. It's little droplets doing motions to the Numbers 1-10. Ichi, ni, san, shi... Animation: The entire video could probably have been done in MSPaint. Seriously. Just a whole lot of copy-paste with different color pallets. Sound: Aside from the ambient rain noises, which I found pleasant, the entire sound is the electronic voices of the droplets saying "ichi, ni, san, shi..." Over and over and ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNODROPS! Characters: I like the one in the witch hat. You do your thing, little droplet. Overall: stay away, stay far away. Do not watch, do not fall for their hypnosis.
It's an odd little thing. I can't fully describe it really. It's basically just counting with animation but I wanted to keep watching to see where it would go. It's not too long, so you can give it a watch and move on without too much trouble, and if you don't like it, turn it off and you're done.
Do not turn your speakers up too high, particularly at 3:15-3:25-ish. The saw-wave oscilator is piercing.Otherwise a very simple, cute video of some droplet-headed abstracted cartoon people dancing in simple, low framerate motions, to the rhythmic counting to four (then to eight) in Japanese. I imagine most viewers would get lost in the first minute as the same animation cycles between four frames until the music builds up at the minute mark. I suggest, if it is available to you, legal for you in your region, and non-debilitating for you, to watch this with some CBD/THC products. Otherwise, it's an interesting mellow thing to have in the background... until the piercing saw oscillation. The entire experience is only 6 minutes in length, so why not, right?
