hmm, for some reason i love reading manga on the computer. After doing it for so long, it would be hard to transfer over to the paper-back.  Plus, i just collect anime, nothing further than that.  Plus you get minute updates and it's bright and easy to read.  Buying 20$ worth of manga and then not even finishing it, serious waste of money T_T.  My cheap ass will never buy manga unless i know the series is complete.  My only exceptions are Berserk and OP, in which i have no money to buy them anyway.  Have to put all my money towards gas and insurance.  45$ worth of gas today, i could feeeeel my wallet become lighter.

Yeah, my mom bought a kindle and the screen is really weird.  It does not look like any lcd screen but like you said, e-ink or whatever.  It has pretty cool design, the only problem with it is you cannot read in the dark.  You need a light, just like one would need a light for a book, which is kinda of a let down.  The kindle is only what 150$?  pretty cheap but then again, you do have to buy the books.  I'll stick with my pooter.

In more recent seasons of anime, manga definitely outweighs anime.  The anime these days are really terrible.  There are maybe 2 action series coming out and the rest are: moe, little girl lead, art is too shiny, or the comedy is forced, hence 'slapstick'.  I mean, they need to do some great anime like they did in the past.  There is plenty of manga ready to be turned into anime but apparently, the 'in-thing' right now is slice of life romance shitty anime. T_T.  I don't make a compelling argument, i am aware, but i have my reasons.  Thus i would much rather read manga than anime, right now at least.  (we need another Bebop, Gungrave, Trigun anime to bless this world).

Hmm, i respect your answer.  Personally i could not choose a favorite, since each time i read a manga, it becomes a favorite.  But, I did just catch up to Air Gear which i HIGHLY rec.  Such a captivating shounen.  Really love the story.  Also, Psyren is complete and this manga has an engaging story as well.  Hellsing, i heard it was pretty badass.  I should watch the anime; i heard the anime was pretty sweet.  Oh mah gawd, azumanga has slapstick comedy.  I think, i will pass.

I hate not finishing a manga.  Btw, hi, im major of the major awesome blog you read.  Something about not finishing anything seems terrible, like a sign of weakness or something.  So i keep on reading those manga except for ping, since im too far into the other 2.  As for buying manga, fuck that.  Well, i mean, screw buying on-going manga.  You never know when a manga will get cancelled or the translations will stop.  I would be pissed if that happened to a series i was buying.  Plus, 13$ a volume, this is a mortal wound to my precious wallet.

Anyways nice to meet you.  I'm curious, you said you enjoy manga over anime, first, have you read more than 15?   Also, what has been your favorite manga thus far?
