about me

"Anime Beginnings"

The anime experience started when I had a younger mind.

Watching Toonami as I got home from school

I seem to have put that memory behind

As I develop into an otaku fool

Once an anime has been seen

The next days to come go super slow

Like a throne occupied by an evil queen

In a few days, I'll be over it though

Often I feel as if I've see it all

Once in awhile I'll be taken by surprise

I thought the anime world was kind of small

But it appears I have yet to adventure the entire size

"A Tale of Manga"

It started after a crazy tale

The pages went by like a giant sale

Going as fast as a dream that just ended

Everything in these chaps are simply splended

It's been a few years and I've read many

Find better ones like a shiny new penny

The manga world has much to give

I hope to read and don't outlive

A good action will keep me busy

Fights so big they will make you dizzy

That's not to say I don't like other types

Adventure, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, I have no gripes

To this very day I have read few that I hated

Most I thank for having been created

Never regret when they end

Onto the next one, friend

"In Anything Really"

I don't look for a meaning

To me, it's quite demeaing

Watch it for the fun story

And enjoy it in all it's glory

After finishing some manga, now I know it's more satisfying than anime. At least it ends how the real creator wants it to. [Better than not how the director wants it to end.]

Can you please suggest me some manga like 666 Satan, Psyren, Defense Devil type.

And by "He" I mean Mr. Miura, of course.

So! You have officially given me reason to visit this site, aside from updating my weekly chapter reads. Finally decided to put Kingdom on my Reading list--I plan on starting it in a few days. But, Punpun--hah, I looked up the first chapter to see what it was like, and I ended up reading the entire thing. Pretty interesting, to say the least. And, to say the most, I really want to see how the story will span to over one hundred chapters. Punpun being a bird is what interedted me, well, the second most--just after all of the surounding characters--I love how narration takes place of character dialogue for him. Though, the only thing that threw me off about it was the fact that Punpun's parents were also birds; I assumed it would be consummate to him alone--as it represents his personal nature. Hah, the proceedings with his parents was an interesting way to take the story though--escalated quite quickly. But like I said, the surrounding characters are amazing. Oh my, the teacher had me laughing pretty frantically. Thanks a lot for the recommendations. With school starting, and all of the books I'm reading, I was wondering if I'd find time to keep coming back here during the semester. But with weekly chapters and these two series, I can say I'll make more of an effort to do so. Can't wait to start Kingdom

Also, have you heard the (very unreliable internet rumors) that Berserk might be ending before the story does? Apparently, according to unreliable sources, he's very ill. I'm not one to believe most of what I randomly see on the internet, though, it is Berserk we're talking about. I can't help but be paranoid.

Hah! Well, damn. It sure as hell has been quite the while. Good to hear from you, though! As far as watching anime, however: Pfft, pretty much just Attack on Titan every few weeks. I can't usually watch it every week. I started Legend of Galactic Heroes a long while ago, but, even though it's actually been quite good, damn good even, I just haven't had the time or energy to keep up with it, as of right now; which is pretty sad actually. Manga, on the other hand, I still have way too much to read. It's ridiculous. FINALLY caught up with Vagabond. Actually, kind of disappointed with a specific direction the story went in. Nontheless, of course, it's still a great series. I just found the fact that they added Matachi as an older man in, telling the story, within the story. Really threw me off track. The current arc is great, though. I aspire to read the book it's based on; entitled: Musashi. That's actually what has been taking up a large portion of my time: reading way too many books, as well. Hah, shit, fifteen? I guess most of them are ongoing, that's still a damn lot though.

Kingdom! I will, most definitely, check this out. You've actually presented me with a conflict. Ah, hell! I really want to start Kingdom, now. But, I have so much shit on my stalled list, I feel as though I can't neglect responsiblity anymore, or I'm afraid I'll never catch up on anything! But, wow, on Berserk level, eh? Hah, those are definitely some bold statements, which makes me want to read even more. Fuck, though, Kentaro is so slow with his chapter releases, perhaps I should start it.

And, yes One Piece! Hah, yeah I suppose it's pretty obvious that this is what I'd be kept up with. Definitely a very interesting arc. God, Fujitora, what in the stench of gastric pits of Hell. And, the number of sub-plots going on at the moment, well, I lost count to be honest. We will definitely be in this arc for a good bit of time.
