Both of these  shows focus on a detective agency and a cast of wacky characters. Although it can be more crude in Azazel, the gag humor (which includes characters bleeding heavily) is very similar. I think if you enjoyed one you'd like the other as well.

chii chii says...

Both shows are about detective agencies that have a lot of strange characters that work together. Comedy seems to be the main goal of each series even though there's a undertone of attempting to solve crimes too. Basically solving crimes in hilarious random ways. Azazel-san is slightly more graphicly violent with the humour but I'm sure fans of one would enjoy the other.

Karasune Karasune says...

Cuticle Tantei Inaba has full length episodes, but both it and Yondemasuyo Azazel-san share a comedic detective story. Cuticle Tantei is a bit cute and down right silly while Azazel-san is crude with its jokes and often violent, but the insane characters always manage to be entertaining and hilarious. Comedy reigns over plot in both these shows, so if you liked one, give the other a try.

Both shows involve the characters being a part of a detective agency, and both anime are completely random and absurd, but really funny and crazy. They also have strange non human characters that are incredibly bizarre.

Brad Brad says...

Both are gag comedy series that follow a group of private detectives as they cause mayhem, confuse everyone they run into, spend their days joking around.....basically anything apart from actually solving mysteries in a professional manner.

Karasune Karasune says...

Two shows with a bunch of strange characters getting into even stranger antics. The main leads are detectives, but they don't really do as much detecting as they do goofing off or causing mischief. Strange+'s humor is a bit more crude, but if you're wanting some more ridiculous comedy than I think you're looking in the right direction here.

Kari5 Kari5 says...

Both of these series are about a crew of ragtag detectives who are hired to do a variety of odd jobs. What these series also hold in common is their flood of over the top gag comedy! Inaba has longer episodes, and occasionaly takes itself more seriously, but if you're looking for a laugh and enjoyed one of these shows, check out the other!

Both anime involve the characters being detectives, both have a random and zany sense of humor that is fast paced and crazy!

Gintama

Gintama

In Gintoki's Japan, the arrival of the various space races known collectively as the Amanto ended the era of the samurai. The Amanto's highly advanced technology resulted in total conquest and a severe economic shift. Now, former samurai such as Gintoki scrape together whatever livelihood they can. Gintoki's profession of choice is that of a yorozuya: he'll complete any job for money. However, he’s unmotivated; and spending most of the day on the couch with the latest issue of Jump and a carton of Strawberry Milk is his preferred pastime. It turns out that his new unpaid employees, Shinpachi and Kagura, are going to interfere with his pastime even more than with his "work"! Of course, none of this means he has really given up on his samurai ideologies!

These two comedic shows both revolve around a set of characters operating a small business, and are sure to entertain you with their wacky characters. Cuticle's sense of humor and gag delivery/timing is very similar to Gintama's, so if you like either show, check the other out.

In both shows you get a main character with two side kicks a guy and girl who solve incrediblely funny crimes.  You also get a a crazy police/inapector and their own insane crew of side kicks. In both shows you have a lot of jokes, puns, and slap stick moments. It is safe to say if you like one you would like the other.

Chitaka Chitaka says...

Both of these anime have the same exact kind of wacky spaztic "what the heck is going on here?" humor that you just kind of have to learn to expect and not question, which is what makes it funny. Kei and Shinpachi also both have exactly the same role of the straight man and usually point out the fact that nothing makes sense, personally I like Kei better though just because I think he's a better character and he's funnier. Hopefully Cuticle Detective wont run forever and get stale though like Gintama sort of does, depending on your preferences.

If detective agencies with strange characters at the helm are your thing these 2 anime should please. Both have plenty of comedy moments but Neuro is way more mature when it comes to actual mystery solving than Cuticle Tantei Inaba. I'm sure fans of one would appreciate the other.

hotspot hotspot says...

Both anime are comedy and mysteries, although Inaba focuses on comedy and not as much mystery... Neuro focuses much more on the mystery and comedy is more of a side dish... Other than that, both shows have zany characters.

Both shows are comedy/parody anime, with graphic violence. Both shows have a random sense of humor and have strange non human characters, that are just as weird and crazy as everyone else.

mintdango mintdango says...

Same as the previous statements, the ironic comedy portions, as well as the fashion of story telling is very similar. Although I will say that One Punch Man had a bit more of an actual plot line while Cuticle Detective Inaba is more a series of shorts and the plot line is episodiac.

A group of detectives work together to solve crimes generally in hilarious ways. The teams generally make things worse for each other before making it better because of their quirkiness. Comedy is totally the main goal behind both series so if you are looking for something a little more series about solving mysteries either of these titles should be skipped. But if laughs are what you are after both are a great choice!

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

When there's something strange in your neighborhood, who ya gonna call? No, not the Ghostbusters. Call on Panty & Stocking, the two fallen angels Heaven-sent to clear the surface world of Ghosts – creatures spawned from mortals who met gruesome deaths. At least, that's what they'd like you to think. In reality, they're gun-toting, sword-wielding femmes fatales who lay waste not only to the evil of Daten City, but to all its bachelors and candy treats too. With a healthy dollop of collateral damage and full-frontal nudity, they always manage to save the day. If they can be bothered, that is...

Karasune Karasune says...

Both shows go over-the-top with comedy and include doses of good guy vs. bad guy battles (which are not serious at all). Panty & Stocking is much more violent and pretty darn crude while Cuticle Tantei Inaba is tame and cute, but if you liked one of these nonsensical gag comedies, you may like the other.

Although the "plots" (if you can call them that) and characters of these anime are absolutely nothing alike the style and delivery of the humor is just about the same. Both of these anime will just spew out the most random things and concepts that it's just hillarious, assuming you're into that sort of thing...which you have to be in order to like either one of these, so if you want another great comedy, check out both PaniPoni and Cuticle Detective.

Both anime have fast paced, over-the-top humor that parodies various things.  I personally think that both series have a similar vibe and found both of them hillarious.  It should be noted that Senyuu's episodes are only about 5 minutes long, while Cuticle Tantei Inaba has full lenth episodes.  Still, if you like one, you may like the other.
