the anime is actually an eye opener to how women are treated in the work department mostly in the olden times and really teaches the viewers much more than what u see
it was a nice anime till the last ep

bridget i hate her yess anne got what she wanted but at what cost
challe ohh my god tha kiss got me soo pissed at him even though he did it for anne like whyy
in conclusion i hate bridget and the ending made me dislike the anime a lot

I assure you, "in the olden times" is very much still true to this day in basically most countries. And I say in most, cause the lack of visibility of open misogyny by no way means "we're done". It just takes place in a less "on the nose" manner and we're all literally raised with a heap of misogynistic subconscious biases that makes us misogynisty by default until we care to work through that topic, regardless of gender.
It's such a relevan topic and it could be such a good show but it's full of triggering rapist creeps and as a woman, I just can't anymore. I've godamn have enough of media constantly pulling the sexual abuse and harrassment card out and making light of it. All they do, is re-traumatise women and give abuers more creepy ideas.

I was so pissed at the ending too oml
