It's a standard dotey-dotey manga with a young girl who draws people to feir side (not in a planned way) with feir adorability--with feir uncynical innocence, complete openness about feir feelings, and desire to help others. And of course with feir cute appearance, 'cause you can't have a dotey-dotey manga with an uncute protagonist. So far, the story has had fem encounter and quickly enamor various non-humans--a sky horse, gryphons, beastfolk, elves, and spirits. It focuses less on the slice of life, on the daily routines and stuff, and more on the mutual love and warm feelings between everyone--which is precisely what separates a slice of life manga from a dotey-dotey manga. Not to mention, the characters are also not very captivating...like at all. Nor is the drama or comedy all that interesting. Some dotey-dotey manga are able to transcend the mediocrity of their genre through the strength of their characters or their humor or something else, but this one is largely just run of the mill. I do appreciate how there's some actual drama concerning human-beastfolk relations, and the way that humans have enslaved and oppressed them. And so far, that's what has kept the dotey shallowness from complete unbearability.
