These wonderfully funny and irreverent comedy shorts work by both playing to and subverting stereotypes. Humor is the mainstay but there are little bits of character development as well. The short format ensures that the jokes never overstay their welcome. Gyaruko, Otako, and Ojou are the main characters but the little world of the show never feels shallow with the focus occasionally shifting to show us glimpses of other people, no generic background characters here.
