Mary and the Witch's flower basically reminded me of a mix between many classic anime movies, like spirited away and Kiki's delivery service and castle in the sky.

I was a little lost in the movie at first but eventually, it all fell into pieces. I like the movie but it wasn't at all what I imagined based on the trailer however it didn't disappoint me. 

The animation is great, in my opinion, the osts aren't anything to go crazy over. It's worth watching but it doesn't sit with the epic movies of Studio Ghibli and others.
