It is a movie. I'll be honest, I liked the beginning and the idea they were going for, but not the execution. There were too many plotlines that it felt like they were cramming in. I could get behind this if it focused more heavily on loneliness and loss, like it implied it would be in the beginning. But then they kept adding stuff. I did like the worldbuilding. However, the idea of having a race of beautiful people that live for hundreds of years but never age past adolescence is just weird to me.
