Have you checked out Ayatsuri Sakon? It's sort of a ghost story thing but very mystery based (trying to figure out why things are happening, usually a murder involved, etc). Another interesting one that I remember liking (but it seems most people don't, and I haven't seen it for a looooong time) was St. Luminous Mission High School... a mystery school setting sort of. ^_^
