This was one of the first examples of modern anime I saw... waaay back when. I recently gave it another watch and yeah it stands the test of time nicely.

The story, is pretty well paced, though it admittedly feels a little rushed towards the end. The musice, again quite well done. Nothing fancy but it sets mood and tone and makes almost seamless transition between. Animation, hard to say, it's good for theperiod and even now it still looks good.

The characters are good and yeah some are pretty laughable even if unintentionally Yeah DOrisbut I gotta say any gal thatcan utter the phrase 'I'm not that kind of girl!' with a straight face wearing what you're wearing has got some serious stones. :D

Overall I recommend this, as a good enjoyable anime that's not too serious or too camp.
