Well there's always gonna be shared opinions in every group (like reddit circlejerking) so I don't really care.
These days, there's a rising mentality that having dark themes and elements (like rape, incest, pedophilia) in fiction is unacceptable and anyone who likes X thing that they don't deem kosher is a bad person. It doesn't help that this is exacerbated by tumblr banning porn, resulting in a lot of antis and fanbrats migrating to twitter (more like twatter am I right).
For example, Elaina's a cunt, but she's way more interesting than characters like Tanjiro and Deku for instance. I'm not saying that morally good characters are automatically boring though.
There's also Genshin Impact players (the game imo is sterile, boring, and disney-like) who can't handle morally grey or evil characters, even if they're well-made, alongside other things (The CCP hates any character who's less than good btw). And I'm just touching the tip of the iceberg...
