Well, there are 21 novels already, and it's still going.
As far as I can tell, we're probably around Vol 14 or so of the novels, right now. Which means, even with the second half of the season, when it comes out, we probably won't have caught up to where the books are currently.
I've only read teh first one, at this point. The writing is a little amateurish. But the story is excellent. So it's a trade-off.
I've taken to reading it (in my head) as though it is satire of fanfic writing style but also given such a compelling plot that it forces you to sit through the unskilled prose.
Y'know, in case you were wondering about the books.
I mean, there were a fair amount of jokes in this season, even if it went from being a parody to being a full-on shounen. Still, thanks for reading and glad you enjoyed.
