I'm a 27 year old Korean guy from south eastern Wisconsin.
Anime and manga is a hobby for me, but not something I'm able to persue as a full-on otaku.
I'm more than a bit too shy to cosplay, I don't buy multiple copies of manga or anime, and don't really collect anime/manga related things (toys, apparel, etc.)
I do however have a few Haruhi Suzumiya playing cards and a deck of Street Fighter IV cards.

Hi Ben! There are private messages in the forum. I would use them more, but I don't like how you have to physically go to the forum to check whether you have a message or not. Since you also have to set up a separate account some people don't have one or have a different name. That is why I tend to not use it, but if you want to talk to me that way that's fine. My name in the forums is the same. I just checked my inbox, and apparently you can only have so many messages too. Mine's 90% full...I'll have to delete some lol

Sure thing :). No I'm not a mod. I'm just a member of the welcoming committee. It is a part of the forums. If you don't know about them yet, there are a lot of groups and discussions that you can join. I don't often participate, only because I don't have the time, but if you want to get to know people that is a good place to start.
Interesting. I have never heard of anime related playing cards, except for the fanmade Yu-gi-oh rip off cards (like making a Gaara Yu-gi-oh card).
