Zings is a duo Idol group stuck playing in small underground clubs the lead member Yoshino is outgoing and the most popular as Yuuya is the complete opposite. Yuuya is lazy, tired, and just in it for the money however he still has fans who apprecitate his easy going attitude. 

After a concert Yuuya sits down on a bench and beside him is Asahi Mogami who Yuuya never heard of. He asks Yoshino and he says that she was the most popular Idol until her death a year ago. 

Only Yuuya can see Asahi and Asahi wants to be an Idol again. 

You get where I am going? 

Asahi tries to teach yuuya how to be an Idol without any progress until she figures out she can assimilate herself into yuuya's body and control him with her personaity, i.e. Danny Phantom. :)

The show does have crappy CGI (as in most Idol shows) but only during the concert sequences which are at most 4. (I forgot). 

Anyways through the progress of the show Zings becomes more popular with the fans and soon a rival Idol becomes a fan (especially for Yuuya (not in a Yaoi way)) 

Though it does lack in some moments it is still a good Idol/comedy show to watch if you enjoy the genre.
